Is there a way to use this mod without Forge? Whenever I've installed Forge it's caused problems with other games so I don't like to install it again.
No . Forge does not effect other games . It is a library of modules , so that the software authors do not have to write unnecessary code. Make sure you only download Forge from the official site .
Forge is capable of modifying more than just Minecraft and it often caused issues with those other games in the past... I'll try again I suppose.
Only download Forge from here http://files.minecraftforge.net/ . If the Forge you have is effecting other files its a Virus or Malware . You should scan your OS for infections and do a clean install of Minecraft . Hope this helps .
Thanks. I installed it and it works, but cuts my FPS to a measly 9, even with optifine and nothing else. So I'm getting rid of it and will wait for this mod to be non-forge, if that ever happens. Thanks

I did everything exactly and it doesnt work at all. im using vanilla with no other resource packs and forge says its working but all the sounds are the same

Any update on when it will be updated to 1.11.2, cause currently isn't compatible with this version. Using Sound Filters mod for now.
Sonic comes on the board once in a blue moon , so wait for the blue moon or ask him on twitter. There are only 2 official versions of the mod , 1.11 and 1.10.2 , they will not work for any other versions . Sonic has not open sourced the code , there for only he can release an update for 1.11.2 .
Prook sent him a PM on here, and I left him a detailed message on his Discord channel linking to this page. No word yet. I guess someone could try messaging him on Twitter. Hard man to get a hold of...
Hey everyone, I'm sorry I've been so hard to get a hold of, there's a lot going on in my life.
I thought I'd have the time to update this mod, but it seems as though it'd be better if I open source it and let the community take it where it needs to go.
First and foremost, I want to apologize if this is just an error on my part, but upon discovering this mod was available for 1.10.2, I went ahead and installed Feed the Beast and Direwolf20's newest pack. I had intended to add this to the pack myself, and I did accomplish just that. However, the mod isn't listed IN game, nor does it work altogether. I can see it out of game, via the launcher, but in-game I can't find it and for the life of me, I have no idea why it's not working. I do have another mod called AmbientSounds or something, but I don't think that has anything to do with it. If anyone could tell me how to get it working for 1.10.2, it would be very much appreciated. I'm currently using SoundFilters in the meantime. Thank you!

I'm not terribly familiar with GitHub, is there anything else I need to do to make sure people can fork and modify this?

Does this mod work with Ad Inferos? Or other mods that add custom blocks and objects?
