I've been using this mod along with your HD Shaders since you first uploaded it and I can't express just how perfect it is. I can't stop building long halls and walking around just to listen to the reverberation.
Your work is amazing, sonicether! Thank you so much for all the hard work you've put into your mods. I literally cannot play vanilla minecraft without feeling the urge to install your mods, lol.
I'd also just like to chime in that I am interested in a version of this mod for minecraft 1.7.10. I'm certainly thankful for 1.10.2 but my favorite modpacks are still a little dated. Regardless though, phenomenal work!
Someone tell me how to convert my Sound files to mono??
If you use Defaultminecraft-Sounds you don't need to, just use the SoundFix-Resourcepack. If you have customsounds, Download Audacity. It allows you to load a soundfile and change it from Stereo to Mono.
has anyone found a way to convert a bunch of stereo files to mono?
because MAtmos and presence are all stereo files
You should be able to use an audio editing program, like audacity to do that. Although I don't think it's possible to do it in bulk, unless you can find an online converter for it.

Tutorial to Convert Stereo File to Mono:
Open Audacity
File -> Edit Chains...
Add (Name: StereoToMono (or whatever you will remember!))
Insert -> StereoToMono -> OK
Insert -> ExportOgg -> OK
OK
File -> Apply Chain...
Select StereoToMono (or whatever you named your chain in step 3)
Apply to Files...
Browse to where your audio files are stored and select all of them that you want to convert. (TIP: Use CTRL+A to select all or hold CTRL while clicking files to select multiple files at once!)
Open
Audacity will convert all audio files selected to mono (if they aren't already) and will then export them in the ogg format in a folder named "cleaned" in the directory where the selected files were.
Used it for several days, a nice mod. But I when I killed enderman, his terrifying sound still playing, can you do anything about that? Thank you for this awesome mod
Just commenting to lend my congratulations for the quality of this mod, it's outstanding. However, as others have said, it does not work with minecraft 1.11.2 in its current state. Plz fix boss!
aso824 the resource pack can be used for 1.10.2. The only thing that I know of that it's changes is the sound for wood type blocks e.g chests, torches, planks etc.
Hi! One of my mods has a mono sound which isn't audible when triggered (I know it's playing because of the subtitle). Is there anything else mod authors need to do to make their sounds compatible with your mod?
Great work as always!
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I have made an unofficial port of the spectacular ExRollerCoaster mod, updated for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Build wonderful roller coasters which can go in ANY direction, and the camera will twist and turn with you.
I'm not releasing it through the usual channels but I hope four years on this site makes me a trustworthy modder.

Not sure if it is the latest version of forge that says it's a beta or if it's minecraft 1.11.2, but this doesn't work for me. When I apply the sound fix the game crashes after a minute and I open the game again and it shows the sound fix in the resource packs on the loaded side and the mod is in the mods list, but the sounds are the same but the game runs like crap - and that's with Optifine loaded as well.

Someone tell me how to convert my Sound files to mono??
Okay either i did something stupid or it does not work with 1.11.2.
I followed the instructions.
Resourcepack is at top,
Mod is listed in Forge(1.11.2 - 13.20.0.2201)
OS: Windows 10
No changes in sound.
If you use Defaultminecraft-Sounds you don't need to, just use the SoundFix-Resourcepack. If you have customsounds, Download Audacity. It allows you to load a soundfile and change it from Stereo to Mono.
same here with forge 2203 and minecraft 1.11.2 on windows 10 no difference in sound at all.
mod loads with no errors.

Install LiteLoader and Forge together.
