Alright, the models will take a while though. When 1.0.4 comes out you can set the items to use the current models in the in-game config. Also if you can get the sound of the camera when it finds a player that would be great.

That will most likely be 1.0.5 or 1.0.6 considering how long it takes to make a model like that.

Sadly not, I'm having issues with the 1.8 version, specifically the items. I fixed about 250 error today but there are still about 15 or so still hiding in the mod. It should definitely be done tomorrow by the amount of error left, or it'll be done around midnight, whichever comes first.
