I've been messing around with being a vampire in MC.Eternal and have some ideas for your consideration.
Sunscreen potion - There are plenty of magical effects in vanilla, it's not a big stretch to think that there could be a potion to make you temporarily immune to the sun.
Better hunger management - When I became a vampire one of the major annoyances for me has become feeding. It's fine some of the time but when you are trying to do a lot of mining or need to be away from home for a long time, like going through a dungeon, it becomes a problem. Bottles of blood don't really stack well, so it's like another penalty for being a vampire. Making some type of blood item that stacks and holds more blood or maybe make a mechanic to gain more hunger/saturation capacity to mitigate the loss of all the foods that normally help with these issues.
Immortality - One of the main reasons people consider becoming a vampire is getting to 'live' forever. In Minecraft no one grows old, so that's not really much a draw card. One thing you could do it make it so that vampires don't lose their inventory on death. That way it is like they can't be killed and instead have escaped back to their coffin. If you wanted to make it look good as well, when a vampire is defeated a bat could be spawned where they were.
Night Safety - Since vampires can't go out during the day, everything is generally harder. It would be nice if it wasn't just other vampires that don't attack you, but all undead since you're a monster now too. That would make nights safer to do things in so it's more of a direct trade off. Night for Day.
hope that someone can help me. I am trying to setup own server with Vampirism mod. I can start server and in creative mode Vampirism items are available. However, I cannot bite myself using the fangs when running Multiplayer mode. In Single player mode everything is working.
I am using Vampirism-1.12.2-1.5.7 mod together with forge-1.12.2-14.23.5.2816 on mac system.
Vampires still spawn in areas protected by the torch from the mod "Torchmaster" which kinda sucks. It'd be cool if they didn't spawn so vampires don't nom my villagers! Love the mod
Night Safety - Since vampires can't go out during the day, everything is generally harder. It would be nice if it wasn't just other vampires that don't attack you, but all undead since you're a monster now too. That would make nights safer to do things in so it's more of a direct trade off. Night for Day.
I second this! In addition, I would personally appreciate a version of the sunscreen beacon that creates the fog effect that's present in the vampire biomes and villages. Alternatively, a village totem that could be activated when not in a village would be nice, so that vampires can create an area that they are safe from the sun (and also have other vampires spawn), or a hunter can create a sort of hunter camp in an area.
I love this mod, so thank you very much for making and working on it!
Hey, I have a quick question. I'm playing/hosting an MC.Eternal 1.12.2 server and am unable to feed on animals - I just get a red fang icon when I put my cursor over them. Is this intended? Can I change this in the config files somewhere? Thanks!

That is the vampire feeding icon. If you don't have that, they don't have enough blood to suck and you instead just do some damage. With the fang icon, it shows how much blood they have left before you drain them completely. As the red drains out of the fang, you have less blood that you may draw out of the animal before the animal is depleted. If you leave the animal alive, it will slowly regenerate blood, though I've noticed the fang icon doesn't recognize the refilled blood until you try to feed again, then it resets to the current blood level.

You have to hold down the feed button as feeding is not instant anymore
no, only the pigman, the AI of the spiders is still good, the one that fails me is the pigmans.
And if I'm sure that the test in the world was only with vampirism 1.5.4 and vampirism integration 1.2.0 beta 1.
But it does not bother me, is that my Laptop with 42 mods gives micro lagings and I can not kill them if they come from me.
Ok; Now I did several tests, one with the two mod, one with Forge and finally with vampirism only, and the verdict is that vampirism fails, when I charge the world with the pigman in front, it automatically comes to attack me.
I don't know how vampire behavior works, but, I know that, I don't know what can cause the pigmans to act, I don't understand, ok I know I don't know anything.
I will give you an idea, I create a world, I put a pigman, I put myself in survival, and he begins to attack me.
This is not so serious, if no one else reports what happens to him, we must not investigate what might be, I may know that my minecraft has some error but it is nothing of the other world. If more people report having that problem you can investigate, you would help me but it doesn't bother me, only that it makes it difficult for me to kill wither skeleton.
I want to add that they have already repaired the problem of MCA and there is no problem with the villagers and vampires, and there are also new villagers: D, they are immune to bites

You can carry filled blood containers around. You still have to place them down to use them, but this should allow you to carry large amounts of blood
Immortality would make sense, but e.g. the "keepInventory" kind of approach would mess with other mods and some server concepts
Zombies should be friendly. Making all (or most) entities friendly would be a little bit boring as you wouldn't have many monsters left to fight then (there are no new ones during the day). Also, as a powerful vampire it shouldn't be too big of a hassle to fight them
At the 15th level i think you should put a way to gain immunity to the sun. Yes its nice to have the abilities but the day being locked is too much of a downside!

Hi, may I know can this mod fully work on a explored map pls? Like we played the current map for a few weeks now, and I wanna add this mod in now. I wanna know does some of the stuff will get update in the map like for example the vampire forest, vampire hunter trainer, etc. Because after Ive downloaded the mod for my server and I locate a vampire forest, theres ntg, no fog, no vampire.
Anyone want to share what their vampire skill “go-to’s” I see some good things but I suppose I want to know any meta or very good skills. As well as very bad skills to go for etc.
Do you mean the hunter cloak? For the hunter armor there are three tiers. To be able to craft the second one you need to unlock a special skill. The third tier can only be found in the world

problem solved - forge server was not working properly.
