An idea, for Mod Integration, Evilcraft, that uses blood as a power source, with tanks of their own and such, and it would be cool, if Vampirism blood and Evilcraft blood were interchangeable.
it's kind of hard being the lord of the night with competition.
also. i'd kind of like to have both jump boost and speed boost enabled at once... if that's ok.
also. one idea for hunters. there could be a "good" version of a vampire. one that wishes to repent for their sins by hunting their own kind and assisting the hunters.
essentially, these are "dhampires" children of vampires who do not wish to harm humanity. as the name suggests, they are not full vampires - instead only half vampire. the other half is human. when they bite, they cannot turn others. they have similar abilities. but due to their nature of not wishing harm on innocents they are much weaker. but, as a tradeoff, they aren't effected by wielding hunters equipment. the hunters give them special armor that significantly reduces the need to feed. and, while it doesnt taste as good as blood, tomato juice provides the same functions as blood would. while they still do not like bright light, dhampires won't be harmed much by the sun.
generally, dhampires are a fusion between the hunters and the vampire. but, some hunters are mistrusting of the dhampire, and the second a dhampire gives into its darker instincts, it becomes no better than a full vampire.
Hey! I have found a bug its really awesome but Im not sure if its of the mod or an error, Im a vampire, and every time I transform into a bat and quickly I become vampire again I regenerate 1/2 heart, and I did it a lot that I regenerate all my life
Im playing the 1.7.10 version with my cousins and some friends and we wanted to do factions where a couple of us are vampires while the others are vampire hunters the only problem is we cant find any vampire hunter trainers we've searched through out the map and just cant find any so we figured we would spawn one in or something but we cant do that either we also have other mods like minecraft comes to life and was wondering if that messed up the spawns or is it rare to find a vampire hunter trainer
I use MCA and this mod works great with it. Hunter trainers have houses in some, but not all, villages (It has a sign with vampire fangs in it next to the door), and they usually just stay in their house.

The 1.7.10 version is completely different than now. It got rewritten somewhen.
1.11 works for sure. Ya might wanna do some research on that though

Some more suggestions for Integrations:
Ice & Fire: Dragons in a Whole New Light
- Make the snow villagers bitable for blood
- Dragons can be harvested in this mod for blood, flesh, and hearts - maybe make these consumable for vampires? Perhaps with a temporary effect after consuming? Maybe the fire dragon blood could give some temporary fire resistance and the ice dragon blood give temporary sun damage resistance?
Tinker's Construct
- Blood in the smeltery from smelting rotten flesh - maybe make this consumable? Maybe it could be a high ratio like 64 rotten flesh to one bottle of blood, since the rotten flesh is maybe too easy to obtain.
ToroQuest - thanks so much for making the guards and sentries attack vampires! This is great! It's probably good that they are not bitable - there are too many of them so it makes it too easy to find prey... But would it be possible to make the Toros (the bull creatures) bitable for blood? And/or the shopkeepers and fugitives?

Hi, I love this mod its AWESOME!, but I got a problem, everytime I change from night vision to blood vision my screen turns all black. Please help
Unfortunately, there seems to be an issue with blood vision on some systems and I haven't been able to find the cause.
But if change back to night/normal vision (using the same key) everything should be fine again, isn't it?
Did some bugfixing to Vampirism (1.3 and 1.4) today.
Also finally brought Waila(hwyla) integration back (in the VampirismIntegrations mod).
Yes, when I use blood vision everything goes black but If I quickly press "n" it comes back to normal. But its kinda annoying :/

I use that mod with it too, but I find it sad that you really can't have a family+be a vampire they just run away from u qq.
There is a Vampirism Integration mod on Curseforge, from this same author. It makes it that you can turn MCA villagers into Vampires.
