Do you have any idea on how Fusion would work? IF you even plan to implement things along those lines that is.
Not sure, strategically speaking, fusion would be inefficient for combat gems because it creates a singular target. For Topaz it'd obviously let them capture animals, so they'd probably use it to team up.

I would've figured that fusions would make the gem quiet stronger and perhaps provide a new special ability for combat from fusion to fusion. Garnet is a fusion between a Sapphire and a Ruby. As seen in the show, she'd be resistant to fire, lightening, and perhaps a small resistance to explosive damage. She'd hit hard with an incredibly knockback, making her usefulness in combat based on her ability to tank damage and push foes away. But she wouldn't have too many advantages seeing as Ruby's are pretty basic gems and fusing with a Sapphire wouldn't be that much of an increase. I suppose the real fruit of labor when fusing would be things like Suggalite or Alexandrite, massive fusions of two or more gems.

I don't plan on ever adding cross-fusions, there is too much speculation and it seems evident that fusions change based on relationship. I want to stick closely to the "gem factory" narrative and remain loyal to the lore of the show.

fusing soldier gems might not be as strategically useful, but i think fusing utility gems would be pretty useful actually
for example, fused pearls would have more inventory space, and fused peridots would work faster and more efficiently
the issue is figuring out little bonuses for it to make fusion worth while but not OP
as a suggestion; maybe fused rubies/agates/quartzes/topazes could have additional enchantments on their weapons, in addition to being twice as strong and fast, but to balance it out they would unfuse automatically after a set time limit

Peridots are already more efficient with farming and working, perhaps increasing their inventory space could be beneficial though. I like the idea of this however. My main dilemma is more of the behind the scenes work, as KAGIC's code is needlessly complicated and in desperate need of a rewrite.

An idea, both from another mod called Overlord and from the show itself. It would be cool if you could group gems together in squads, or group and command them both as individuals and a group. Just the Ruby Squad or Jasper's group that went to Earth, It would make sense if you could order them about in group, assign one group to guard a village or area, and another to follow you around like bodyguards.
I currently have a server running with this mod and find that if a gem is ever thrown to the floor or if a gem poofs the server crashes, any fixes for this?
I need a crash report, because I can't replicate this.

Are Zircons gonna be in this mod? they're purpose is to be lawyers, and that doesn't really translate into something you could do in minecraft so what would be they do?

i found a bug, aquamarines just fly away forever, they don't come back
That's sounds weird and grossly funny, I'll investigate as soon as possible.

ooh yeah that sounds useful actually! maybe we could use them to organize gems into little squads too, so you can send them out to do jobs in groups

Do you ever plan on a way to increase the power of gems other than Mono-Gem fusion? Like a leveling system?
Looks to be a great mod, I'll be keeping an eye on your project. Good luck.
Got a new poll up in preparation for the next update.
For anyone curious about the new update...
wow this is exciting!
