This is the full released version of DangerSense, as it is no longer WIP it requires a new thread outside WIP Mods
ATTENTION: THIS VERSION IS NOT BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE. You will lose any items from previous versions of DangerSense present in your world. The world itself will NOT be damaged, though Forge will warn you about missing IDs; the ID warning is expected, continue loading the world.

Do not ask me to upgrade or downgrade the Minecraft version this mod is for, upgrades will come in good time and I will probably never do downgrades. Also asking for either is against forum rules.

What does this mod do?
The DangerSense mod adds a potion effect that gives the player something like Spiderman's "Spider-Sense", when a specific mob gets within a configurable distance of the player, the edges of the screen turn red.
When killing a mob with a Soul Quartz Dagger(The dagger must deal the killing blow), the dagger absorbs the soul of the slain mob. You can then hold right click to gain a DangerSense effect that specifically detects that mob. A dagger that gives a hostile detecting effect can be crafted as well. Once a dagger has absorbed a soul, it has 8 uses and cannot absorb another soul. Mobs killed using a Soul Quartz Dagger will not drop any items.
The dagger that gives a hostile detecting effect can be crafted by crafting 4 daggers together. Each dagger must have abosrbed the soul of a Zombie, a Creeper, a Skeleton or a Spider. All 4 souls must be present, you cannot have two of any type.
