Computercraft support is currently in. I've tested it with a beta release of CC for 1.9.4 but that version was not yet ready for release and quite buggy and I can't find anything newer to play with
Hi guys, I've just released a new version (1.9.4-0.4.5.10) to address a Tesla-related crash. If you use the Tesla power system in your worlds please update ASAP

can you add an ic2 EU port so the reactor can produce EU?
if most people vote no, could you add it in, but disabled by default? it'd be good for people like me that don't wanna deal with the complexity/explosions of the ic2 reactor
We just released a new update to fix a couple of bugs that were reported on our issues page
Extreme Reactors 1.9.4-0.4.5.13
* Fixed Redstone port not updating nearby blocks when the redstone signal changes
* Fixed crash in the Turbine Fluid Port
* Updated Chinese language file
* Removed requireSteelInsteadOfIron config option
* Version bumped to 0.4.5.13
We also have the final results from the Twitter pool on the question of supporting IC2 power support in Extreme Reactors:
- Yes, add UE power : 39%
- No, I don't use IC2 : 17%
- No, It does not belong in ER : 44%
If IC2 power is out, we will probably add support for the new power API that was just added to Forge as we pretty much already have all the infrastructure needed to support it
Another group of modder is working on a thermal-expansion-like mod that will add the old fluids. When that's ready we will add support for them.
We are also looking at other mods for fluids/blocks to use as moderators. Suggiestions are always welcome
Perhaps the liquid slime obtained from the slime Islands in Tinkers Construct? Takes exploration to find and gather them, which helps them scale-Bigger reactors would require even more exploration to fill!
Green Slime could be great for absorption but slightly below average at everything else. Blue slime could be great at cooling/heat efficiency but poor at conduction? Orange Slime could excel and conductivity but could be atrocious for heat efficiency? Purple slime could have no glaring weaknesses-pulling ahead at slightly above average all around, but not really excelling at anything?
Packed Ice is a relatively rare find--Only a scant few mods have a method of crafting it off the top of my head. You can make it through Botania, or a by building a complex cooling machine with Crossroads. IC2 has a method as well. I think it'd be great as a consideration for a solid coolant, that is if it isn't already. It would be nifty if packed Ice regressed over time at certain heat thresholds--Packed Ice > Ice > Snow > Water. It might be a pretty good coolant, but you'd have to pop open your reactor and replace it/maintain it from time to time.
AbyssalCraft has a few liquids, I think. Liquid Antimatter and Liquid Coralium are both really dangerous to handle, so maybe something interesting could be done with those?
Ender IO's Vat produces a number of liquids, though I'm uncertain if any can be placed in the world.
Finally, reaching a this point-- There are a couple mods out there that feature distilled and heavy water variants.
I have a suggestion that I felt Big Reactors was always missing; although some players find this more annoying than others. I always felt like the reactors were missing some sound. I loved the reactor sound from IC2 back in the Technic days and I just felt like it's a shame to turn on a reactor of that size, watch enormous turbines spin, and above that all hear nothing but crickets in the background. It would be amazing if Extreme Reactors had some sound put into the reactors, although I have 0 experience in how hard/possible that would be to accomplish. It's just a suggestion. Other than that, thank you so much for putting your time into porting the mod!
Although, one question, did Erogenous Beef announced he discontinued Big Reactors?

If I helped you in any way or agree in my ideas or posts, make sure you click that green arrow pointing up below my post or simply huggle me! I use 1.7.10 (Modded), so when I comment that I like a 1.8 mod, I will comment to downgrade to 1.7.10. I support no pics, no clicks. Suggestions that I think that are the best deserves a banner!
It is almost time to say goodbye to 1.7.10 because of the recent surge of big 1.9 mods.
Why MCreator sucks: jcm2606's file (doesn't open a new tab) He allows/welcomes anyone to link the file, so I put it here in my signature for people to know how MCreator functions. I thank jcm2606 (he's awesome) for creating the document/file and I'm just here to spread the word.
@Rudette: sorry for the late reply! Using slime in an interesting idea as, like you said, you can't mass produce it. I will also check the packed ice and AbyssalCraft
@ancients5: I agree. Adding sounds is not a big problem code-wise, it's making them the issue
@danny_djdk: cool! Have fun
@AgentJava: Erogenous Beef is MIA and there are no signs of life in his repository for the last 18 months. I've tried to contact him with no luck. If you have other ways to contact him then the ones publicly available please let me know
Yeah, we kept the original textures from the 1.7.10 version for the Legacy blocks because, well, they are legacy blocks We are making new textures that will be used by the new blocks tiers when they are released. We are also going to changes the ingots and all the other textures (like dusts, metal blocks and so on). You can already see some of our new textures in the current release, like the new ores or the anglesite and benitoite crystals
Regarding the graphite, you are right, it should be named "Graphite bar". I'll fix it in the next version along any other bugs that show up (so far we've got only one bug report strangely)
For the UE support, technically speaking I think that I could add an EU Power Tap but I really don't know if it's really needed and/ore useful in the current environment
Like @TyoAtrosa said, EU was almost wiped from the map by RF and now we have Tesla to that's gaining consense in the modding comunity
That said, if there is enough requests for an EU option we'll look into it

The new textures are horrific, sorry to say. 32x32 looks absolutely horrendous in Minecraft and if your texture artist is not able to do decent 16x16 you should seek for a new one.

I've posted a pool on twitter about IC2 support :
https://twitter.com/ZeroNoRyouki/status/771332099932651520
It's still going

Probably not.
If the IC2 guys made building a reactor so hard we should respect their decisions and don't brake IC2 balance
Please keep in mind that Modularity is still in development and the fluids are not yet available in survival mode
We are keeping up the search for new fluids and blocks to add support for in the reactor or turbine
This is in my modpack
Nice, thank you! We hope you enjoy the mod

Hi guys!
Version 0.4.5.15 is out to address a problem with ore spawing in the wrong dimension! Get it soon if you don't want netherrack to show up in the End!
Get ithere!

I am adding this to Danny's Sirenuse Modpack. This pack, along with your mod, will be played in my let's plays and used on our SMP subscriber server.
Thanks for bringing this to 1.10.2!

"My" texture artist is the co-author of this mod so we will not change him
What textures do look so bad to you? I quite like the crystals and the ores myself
