I'm amazed there isn't a forum post for this! There IS a VR mod for Java Minecraft. The most recent iteration is called "Vivecraft."

Vivecraft supports:

The Vive
The Oculus Rift
Any other VR hardware that supports OpenVR

Edit: Looks like one of the main devs is a bit lonely; show him some love!

Oh yeah, I remember seeing Node play minecraft with this. Definitely needs some advertising.

Question is, does it work with forge?

The website says the 1.7.10 version works with Forge.
