I've decided to create a lucky block addon called Nuclear Lucky Blocks for MC 1.9. There are about 200 (not like I really ever counted) new drops, and so I decided to share this with the community.
These blocks are called Nuclear for a reason... the drops they sometimes make might make your computer have a seizure. Some examples include Missile Strikes, Nukes, boss fights and my friend named ThompThomp (a slime 50 blocks tall).
This addon I made in 2 days as a dare from a friend - and I succeeded as I have no life. However, I am aware that there are some missing textures, structure glitches, and other pesky bugs - and so the mod is currently in beta. Terribly sorry about that
As the mod loot++ hasn't yet been updated to 1.9, this mod does not require it to be installed, only the lucky block mod for MC 1.9.
I'd like to thank Skek, the creator of Emerald Lucky Blocks, as it was through his mod that I figured out how to make addons, as well as the creators of Rainbow and Spiral Lucky Blocks for inspiring some of the drops.
This mod, like any of my Minecraft creations, is dedicated to the famous Youtuber PrestonPlayz/TBNRfrags. Please forward this mod to him so he will notice it
Installation Instructions:
First download and install forge and lucky blocks for 1.9, with lucky blocks version 7.1.1 or higher.
Download this add-on.
Go to your game folder (where you installed lucky blocks and such), and drag the zip file you downloaded into theaddons/lucky_block folder.
Also, I've never managed to find a good, up-to-date tutorial on how to make lucky block addons. And so, I learned the art only through looking at the source code of other addons as the lucky block documentation has about the same readability as a 20-page license agreement. And so, I've started to make a tutorial series on my youtube channel, VladShev.
Also, if anyone has any ideas for drops, structures, lucky sword, bow and potion effects, please include them in a reply to this thread. I'm planning to do an update to the mod in the near future and it would be awesome to have some new ideas.
