Also, PLEASE do not update this mod to 1.8, 1.9, or 1.10 because pretty much 1.7.10 is the most used and best version for modding. I tried creating and installing mods on 1.8 forge ... they were some of the worst experiences I've ever had in Minecraft.
Thanks! I am so glad to have your support on not updating this mod! Updating will delay the flow of content severely, and like you said, 1.7.10 is the most used so there would be no benefit!

So, you don't plan on updating to the newest version when this mod comes out fully?
I don't think there's anything wrong with squashing bugs, experimenting with new ideas and tweaking balance in an older version of Minecraft - I use 1.7.10 exclusively, so 1.10.2+ stuff isn't terribly interesting to me. That being said, it'd be a shame to watch this fade into obscurity when the community does finally move on. I've played modded Minecraft since Beta days and have seen a fair share of great mods die - hopefully you have a few very early ideas kicking around as to how to implement some of your features in newer versions of the game.

No, it would take too long, and not to mention beextremely boring! I make mods for fun, and would much rather add new fun features. Not to mention I would have to reimplement model rendering because forge replaced it with .json -.-
If it was simple to update and 1.7.10 was obsolete, I would.
How about after you do a few more updates to this mod, maybe you could make a Vietnam War mod.
WW2 is my favorite time period of all. That is why I am making a content pack system, so I can work on WW2 while the community can add whatever they want

If 1.7.10 ever becomes completely obsolete, then I might. But I don't see that happening anytime soon. But forge messed up something important in 1.7.10-Model Rendering. It is this reason that 1.7.10 is and will remain the greatest mod version unless forge re-adds the old proper way. Not to mention the distaste for 1.9 also works for my benefit, which will extend the life of 1.7.10 for a very long time, giving me plenty of time to continually have fun adding new features and factions! I expect 1.7.10 to remain valid another year at least.

Oh, I didn't know people could make content packs with this. So basically this is better than Flansmod in every way. Flansmod did pretty much everything wrong when it came to making shooter game-like content packs.

Well people can starting sometime in the next few days with the release of the next update =P
Currently it will have support for .obj models which allow for highly detailed models but more work to get everything rotated, scaled, and positioned properly. I am trying to get permission to add the code required to allow models made with toolbox 2.0 for flans to also be compatible. Toolbox 2.0 doesn't have as much modeling power as blender, but is already set up for easily making gun models and will mean less messing around with the models transform properties post-completion
Okay, cool. I might be able to make gun stats for content packs if it's simple enough, but I don't think I can do the models because I don't have Blender, and I can't make a Toolbox model for the life of me . Also, I think you should focus on the war in the Pacific for the next update because if you add the Japanese team, then it'll be equal.
Hello, my friend, I hope this Mod main theme of World War II, after all, the theme of World War II Mod rarely, if they can increase the aircraft, vehicles, fixed weapons, such as anti-aircraft guns, sandbags, etc., as well as uniforms, thank you

Half of what you mentioned is going to be added very soon! A major update for fixed weapons is coming in a week or so, sandbags as well. Uniforms are also being worked on. Vehicles and Aircraft would steal too much focus and lower the quality of everything else, so I am saving such until much later.
It's fixed, but have been too busy moving to fix the last few things needed to release the update. Today is a possible release date, but I am quite tired =P

Allies
-Britain
-United States
Axis
-Germany
-Japan
That is true..... maybe I should do that first. Russia will only open up Germany vs. Russia battles while Japan will open up U.S. vs. Japan and Britain vs. Japan battles.
i can understand you , its not easy to make a such a great mod
but without hard bots its not so funny
the ai is a bit too simple may you add some abush attacks or snipers are really camping
some rushing dudes
fearfull dudes ony hiding crouching
a bit realism of the ww2
just some ideas im not givin you orders or somthing
i realy like your mod
Do you have the latest version where they can't damage you at all? In that case it will be way too easy =P. Otherwise, some gamemodes their ai needs to be improved for, like Assault and Engagement. But for Team Deathmatch and Free for All they put up quite a fight!
I like the ideas, but before I add them there is a lot of other mod features to add first because AI in minecraft is very challenging to make well and would take a lot of focus off of other things =)
When it is time to make better AI your ideas have given me a place to start though!
I showed this mod to my friend whose been playing shooter games like Battlefield and stuff for years. When we were having a deathmatch, we noticed that the weapons seemed to do a completely random amount of damage per shot. So, I must ask how does the damage system work exactly, because it didn't seem to make sense that it would have body part damage values because ... well it was completely random. Please reply to me about the damage system or if it's a bug, please fix it. Thanks

Ok, have you uploaded a new Call to Battle update?
not yet, today I am moving into a new house so unfortunately I don't have my computer on hand to finish the update.

Yes, please do fix that.

Great pictures, something of that sort will certainly be planned for after content packs are completed =)
Already planned! Otherwise nobody would ever be able to make one =P
