No particular reason, TBH. I've always used that name as it's what I've known from tutorials. If you want to put out a change you are welcome to do so. I don't have the code on my PC anymore, so you'll have to grab it off the source repository linked in the Curse Page.
Possible question: You ever think of adding more support for the minelittlepony mod with this? Understandable if ya don't.
No, but not because I have anything against ponies. It's just I have discontinued support for this mod. That being said, there's nothing stopping you from grabbing the source code and adding support yourself.
Ah alright! Unfortunately I'm no coder or modder so I may just have to wait until someone else does aha either way it still works fine if the pony has no horn. Thanks for at least making it 1.11 :3 I'm getting closer and closer to making minecraft look as beautiful as possible
Hey don_bruce, is there a list of known incompatibilities? Hats mod perhaps? I tried this with FTB Infinity pack, and my head is rendering in most modes, making it impossible to play. I'm not using optifine or shaders.
Ah, too bad this mod is discontinued. Had a minor bug where my first person render would go invisible, and could only be resolved by pressing F1 twice, which reset it back to vanilla. No idea what was causing it.

I found the problem. This mod seems to be incompatible with Headcrumps. It is included in the latest FTB Infinity pack, so if anyone has problems with rfpr, check if you have Headcrumps installed.
It occurs when you install Mo' bends and Realistic first-person render together, while swimming animation. Looks not realistic... But 3rd person view is normal.
P.S. : First I tried to solve this problem through the mo 'bends menu (G by default). But I could not, because there is not (well, or I did not find, that is more likely) the function to moving part of the body.
P.P.S. : Sorry for my english, i'm from netherlands
I guess I'm confused, why would you want to render yourself fully in a mode you can't see yourself in anyways? Isn't that the point of 1st person, to NOT render a body? Maybe I'm missing something... Can some explain?

"If you don't understand the bigger picture, writitng a program is difficult. That's true with any computer programming language, not just java. If you're typing code without knowing what it's about, and the code doesn't do exactly what you want it to do, then your just plain stuck." - Dr Burd

the point of first person is to see the world the way the lead sees it, whether that is book, movie, or game, first person is from the eyes of the character who's story you follow. If you can't look down and see your character, then it is not true first person, since the character would be able to look down and see themselves in real life
Has anybody have got this problem? (See the picture below)
Whatever perspective mode I changed, the default arm is still showing up, (No.3)
even I've already tried just only RFPR installed, it still happening... Any idea?
PS. No.1 is from Ars Magica 2, but that's not the problem.
Forge Version 2123 / 2185 / 2219 < Right now I'm using this one
This is 1.10.2, but it doesn't seem to happen with 1.7.10.
That's strange, optifine never did this before, it happened like 8 hrs ago, and I didn't use shaders though...
Please read the OP.
double killer: u hav Optifine AND Shaders
Well, more like single killer. Optifine doesn't do anything, but shaders will mess you up good. That's why you read the OP!
The shader hand bug is now fixed in the latest update of OptiFine when using the OptiFine internal shader. (1.7.2+)
Can you bump this up one more update? (1.11.2, I couldn't run 1.11.2 with the current version of this mod, 1.11)
Hi!
I asked earlier, but it's up again.
Harvest Festival trough cause crash with RFPR. It seems the problem is when RFPR wants to find the name of the block.
This is where the crash caused. Why do you use unlocalised name instead of registry name?

I didn't want to fully render myself, on the contrary, I wanted that while I was swimming, my body wasn't displayed or was hidden at that moment.
