MineKampf brings traditional online rpg gameplay to Minecraft by adding new items, machines, blocks and a class system designed to expand gameplay options for players who enjoy the combat and exploration parts of Minecraft while simultaneously making them more dependent on the players who enjoy the crafting and building parts of the game. MineKampf adds fantasy and steampunk elements to your world. It has been designed to provide a much more satisfying adventuring experience without straying too far from a vanilla experience.

Basic Introduction:
Mana is added to all characters once they have chosen a class. It is shown as the blue crystals in the bottom left of the screen. Additionally, a new hotbar has been introduced in the left middle of the screen; it will show your magical abilities and their cooldown status. You will need to bind the hotkeys for this ability bar in your controls settings. We typically use 1-5.
In MineKampf you choose your first class by crafting a Sun Icon:
This is 4 Copper Ingots and a Brass Ingot in the Middle. If you don't know about Copper and Brass head over to Dr Cyano's Base Metals for an explanation.
Once you've made the Icon use it and pick your class from the list. You will be able to use the Sun Icon in the future to choose other classes. Now you can press the Class Panel Hotkey (Defaults to 'H') to train your first ability. Press it and you will see a screen like this:
Use the + to add a level to your ability and - to remove it to add somewhere else.
To level up you must collect experience and sacrifice it to a new alter. Construct the XP Table with planks and an iron block:
Place it in your world and use it to add levels to your class. It costs your current level + 1 levels of experience to reach the next level. When you die you will lose one class level.
To remove your class eat the Forgetfulness Bread:
The current level of your abilities and your current classes level will be saved. Be careful when you use this as you will be stunned and blinded for 10 seconds. To learn a new class, use the Sun Icon again. To remember a class you have already learned use Diamond Dust, it is made by crushing a diamond with the crack hammer:
Classes:
The class you choose effects the types of armor you can wear, your maximum health, your maximum mana, the mana regeneration rate, and the types of abilities you can use. There are currently 8 classes in MineKampf:
Digger:
A Mining Focused character that can summon food and pickaxes.
Cleric:
A heavy armor wearing healer who is effective at defense and offense.
Brawler:
A medium armor wearing character who specializes in melee combat.
Archer:
A light armor wearing archer. Very high damage.
Nether Mage:
Cloth armor wearing mage that specializes in mid range to close combat.
Druid:
A more offensive healing character that can only wear light armor.
Wet Wizard:
Long range mage character, can only wear cloth armor.
Skald:
A melee bard archetype with strong group buffs and offensive abilities. Can wear medium armors.
Crops:
You can find hemp seeds by inspecting the grass seeds more closely:
Hemp grows like sugar cane up to 4 blocks high and has 2 growth stages.
It grows slower the more hemp plants directly adjacent to it so plant it in checkerboards.
Hemp must always be in wet soil.
There are many uses for hemp:
You can crush the leaves to make hemp fibers:
These fibers can be made into rope or cloth:
Rope can be used like a ladder but you can place it going down. If you place a rope block on a rope block it will be added to the end of the rope if there is room.
Hemp Fibers can also be used to produce new armor:
Gold threaded cloth is the basis for the gold-threaded robes for mages.
Hemp Seeds can be combined with Wheat to make a more nutritious, longer lasting bread:
And like Gandalf, you can smoke the leaves to restore your mana and even give it a little boost:
Use the pipe when you have raw hemp leaves in your inventory to restore 10 mana, up to your maximum mana + 10.
Armors:
Gold Threaded Cloth
Highly enchantable, but low armor.
Bone Leather
Same armor as leather but much more durable. Not very enchantable
Chainmail Armor
Same as vanilla but actually has recipe and better graphic.
Weapons
Spears
Spears have a longer reach than swords but do slightly less damage. They come in all ores including the base metals ores. You cannot use a shield if you have a spear equipped.
Mana Regen Idol
This is an offhand item for casters that will raise mana regeneration.
Portals
Portal Block
Portal Blocks can be used to create one way teleporters, they need to be powered by steam power. When they emit purple end particles, they are ready to teleport you. They have a maximum steam power of 5000, limiting the number of blocks a single teleporter can move a player to 5000.
They work by creating 6 pillars arranged around the actual portal block that determine the location of the teleport.
With the portal block in the middle, and 0 being empty blocks, to the north of our portal block are the up and down (Y axis controls), to the south the pillars are the North and South (Z axis controls), and to either side are the West and East (X axis controls)
Glowstone = 128 Blocks
Obsidian = 64 Blocks
Stone = 8 Blocks
Glass = 1 Block
The final teleport will be x: East - West, y: Up - Down, and z: North - South
Party Mechanics:
Since XP is much more important in MineKampf you will want to share it with all who are out hunting. If you are on a team with somebody you will automatically share XP with them, teams are also the basis for determining which spells effect allies and which enemies. However, Minecraft's base Team system is a bit confusing. We have added 2 chat commands that will simplify the process:
/party leave
/party invite [name]
"party leave" leaves the team you are currently on. "party invite" will invite the player to your team or make a new team if you are not on one. They will leave their current team.
Dependencies:
MineKampf depends on a few mods absolutely, and has a few others we suggest you play with!
First of all a huge shoutout to Dr Cyano, his mods have formed the foundation of Minekampf in some ways. You will need:
Those are the right mods. Make sure you are on Forge 1.9.4 1976. Failing that if you can post the output of the minecraft launcher log I can take a look see if there's anything that jumps out.

it says Connetion Lost : Fatally missing blocks and items
Someone else who have this problem PM me a bit ago, they say it was fixed by setting up fresh instance with multimc so if you are using multimc that might be a fix?
Really enjoying the experience so far, looks like the community is pretty friendly too! I'd suggest you to check it out if you like RPG games, playing minecraft with these abilities and dungeons is really a different experience.
For those of you who do not want to play on the official server:
MineKampf was designed to make use of a heavily preprocessed world that has been seeded with custom mobs, items and dungeons to keep things interesting and difficult, you can achieve the same type of world using MCDungeon yourself if you're technically savvy, but if not, here is the world we are using on the server.
About the name, I think it is a bit of a stretch to suggest that making a cross-linguistic referential joke (the homophonous nature of mein and mine) that both parodies an infamous book and the branding habits of the Minecraft community is such a line-crosser as to put it on the same pedestal as depictions of Allah. That's a bit of deification of Hitler and his output that I think is far more uncomfortable than the rather mild mannered pun going on originally. I mean just because he wrote a book named "Mein Kampf" I should take artistic care to avoid combining the same phonetic sounds even if I use words from different languages? Can you imagine a world where all art was held to this standard regardless of language being used? Kampf means "struggle" and for a mod about making the combat and survival bits of minecraft more difficult, MineStruggle is a particularly descriptive name. It's not like we just named it MineKampf and started throwing around Nazi iconography. There is a sensible and humorous meaning to the name, and doing a little bit of trivialization of the accomplishments of evil men is not exactly some big PC **** storm in the making I think. Otherwise, you're going to have to start reviewing the list of books written by infamous dictators and really expand the list of names that are inappropriate.

There's not really anything to fight over here.
It's like me making a server called "Mine Eleven". Sure, it's a pun, but it's in bad taste.
So by this logic, is "Tine Eleven" also off limits? Is "ZineKampf" the theoretical zine about the trials and tribulations of publishing zines also fundamentally offensive, since you've established that words rhyming with offensive words are also offensive? What if I were to name the mod MeinStruggle? Would this also be offensive? I think this precedent of both rhyming and cross-lingual offensiveness is not exactly tenable in the long run.
Kampf is not a number, but it is a word with meaning independent of its usage in the title of hitler's autobiography.

The point is, you intentionally named your server after Adolf Hitler's book. I highly doubt anybody would make a magazine titled "Zine Kampf" for the purpose that it sounds too much like "Mein Kampf". You're free to name your server whatever you like, but don't act like it's unreasonable for me to find it a bit distasteful.

Hi turkokcu,
Thanks for joining us today! Glad you enjoyed it.

Maybe you should, uh, change the name.
Hi everyone,
Just updated everything to MineKampf .54:
Features:
Party Rework + GUI
Now when you are in a party with others you will be able to see their Health and Mana:
The /party join <name> command has been replaced with a more traditional /party invite <name> so that it is less confusing.
This will display a traditional invitation accept window on the invited players screen:
Balance Changes:
Brawler's Yank range has been increased to be equivalent to their Stunning Shout's range.
Visual Changes:
The number of particles in Druids Flame Blade effect has been reduced.
All Spears have been visually reworked to appear more spear-like.
Files have been updated in the OP.
I suggest changing the name as well. If there's a book you should name a server/mod after, it's not the autobiography of Adolf Hitler.
Well said.
Hey Guys,

Is it also in bad taste if I have 11 servers, all named Mine #, so that the last is Mine 11?
If you didn't intend it, no. But that's besides the point here. Kampf is not a number.
