Due to the thread nature and history, the following rules have been placed on this thread.
1) Posts that are just "welcome back", "yay", or related and do not have any context beside that will be removed. It's nice that the thread is allowed back, but please do not make those kind of posts since they will be spam.
2) Arguments are to be reported and not replied to. If there's a problem going on, then the posts starting it should be reported. Replying will not solve it, and makes it worse for you and me.
3) We are allowing the thread back on the conditions that the issues prior are resolved. Should those issues re-surface and show that they will not be resolved in any reasonable manner, we will re-lock the thread.
Many many many thanks for all the hard work put into this mod. I was checking the Twitter page daily waiting for it to be launched and today is a happy day!
If you could just answer me one question please, I asked before in Twitter but didn't get any reply. Question is:
Do we have the option to get dinos to automatically spawn in the world when creating a new world?
It's my greatest wish, to have dinos as mobs that can hunt you down and kill you, as the mobs in Minecraft are not scary at all. I think this would add a huge amount of immersion into Minecraft, changing it a bit from a sandbox more in the direction of a real survival game. I love dinos and would be awesome being chased by a raptor or a t-rex while trying to build your house early in game.
Sure I understand this is not the aim of Jurassicraft, you guys want to add the option of a player building his own Jurassic Park within the game. But to me, if I create a t-rex and I put it somewhere, it won't be scary cos I know exactly where it is and how old it is, I created it. And don't even get me started on "taming" it, I hate the idea. It's supposed to be scary, get close and you're dead.

The Tyrannosaurus is not tameable, but will only attack you when it is an adult. This may change to half-grown.

Well, carnivores will attack players, but normally only when hungry or attacked. We've also improved their running speeds somewhat compared to previous releases, so they should be quite dangerous.
Loving the new release, however I've found a few bugs.
The Tyrannosaurus (and others) can attack you through solid walls. Not sure if this is fixable or not.
Dinos can glitch through one block thick walls (not sure about 2 or more).
Dinos sometimes spin uncontrollably.
Baby Tyrannosaurs (and potentially others) get stuck in water and can't get out.
There are visual glitches on the neck and other areas of various dinos (like T.rex). I get the feeling this is only fixable by changing the width of the blocks themselves, and if that is the case don't bother changing it. Its not important.
Does the height of the feeder matter?
The Indominus model is awesome.
Thank you for reporting these bugs! We'll do our best to fix them.
I don't understand? I was playing the pre release and there were loads of different dinos. Now i'm playing the full release and there are only 6 dinosaurs in the game?
Actually, there are 7. And if you look up above your comment, you'll see the reason.

If you're not joking, this is THE best news of the week for me! Awesome!
On another note:
I've been digging and digging the whole day, close to 10 thousand blocks digged, most of them around layer 11. Found a stack of diamonds, 17 stacks of gypsum powder, twigs and other stuff, but only ONE fossil. Am I extremely unlucky or there's a bug here? Are they supposed to be really this rare?
Maybe you guys could reduce a bit the number of gypsum powder blocks and increase a tad the amount of fossils.

Any help with this? It´s kinda urgent......
Thanks in advance.
Add more ram to your minecraft installation.
How do I add more RAM to my minecraft installation? Step by step, please..... Do you mean add more RAM in my PC? Thank you!

Thank you guys for the help! It worked.... but since my computer has only 3 GB of total memory, after playing a little, the game stops (too much lagging). And on the game report it says that the game is very slow... Overclock....
