Well that's too bad, because Optifine is required for all shaders and most mods these days as well. Also, the Optifine website has direct mirror links that you can use if you're afraid of adfly, but honestly you won't ever get a virus from adfly so long as you don't ever click anything on the page except for the skip button at the top right after waiting for 5 seconds. It's really not that complicated at all though. Optifine installs with 2 clicks and then all you need to do is drop the shader .zip file into the shaderpacks directory in your /.minecraft folder.
My main issue with these shaders is that its way to dark to go mining without torches. Maybe in v3 you can turn brightness up in dark areas like chocapic shaders.
My shader is legal and does not violate the rules -.-

He will just make sure, and if it's verified as legal, then he/she will add your shaderpack to his thread.
just cross your fingers Strum, he'll add that.
I'm TheCoolSteveMan, you can call me CSM for short!
Strum, raining in night time is too dark for me. You might wanna tweak that up.

Looks good tbh
Thats what i want it to look like. Youll need torches to get around

This shader has been in my head ever since I last commented at 2015..(?)
No idea why, because I haven't even played Minecraft (except for the one-offs) during that time.
A bit sad to see no V3, but eh.
