I imagine it will be updated to 1.9, after the mod comes out of beta. He's developing it for 1.8.9, and probably wants to finish that version before modifying it for 1.9.
That said, I can hardly wait myself =D
By the way, an update for 1.8.9 is most likely coming next week.
Here's a question. Does anyone experience the weird bug where whole chunks for chunks (called regions in this case) just disappear randomly (unload)?
It might require a lot of land being loaded, still not sure.
First part of Xaero's Minimap integration is out. You can test it by downloading the latest Xaero's Minimap version.
The minimap will now display the chunks loaded by the world map instead of loading it's own. This improves the performance a lot. Does not work in safe mode. The minimap can still run without the world map mod and it will stay this way.
New changes to Xaero's World Map are coming soon. Will include performance improvement of chunk grids in the minimap mod when used along-side the world map mod, waypoints integration and possibly more.
NO I didn't find where I could change it, Im still new to mods and stuff but i couldnt see it in the GUI. Is it part of the mod loader side where I can change the Keybindings? or doe it get added to the normal minecraft Keybindings area?
EDIT: Found it in the Normal Keyboard settings area.. lol.
Hey Xaero, you can made the mod to 1.8 version? i will like test the mod
1.8 edition will be out for beta. It's still alpha right now.
I haven't forgotten about this mod, just don't have that much free time right now so the progress is slow. In fact, I'll be working on it after I post this.
+ Added Xaero's Minimap/Better PVP waypoints support. The map will now display waypoints. Hovering over a waypoint will also display the name of the waypoint.
+ You can edit, disable, delete and teleport to waypoints right from the world map GUI.
+ Added an arrow that shows the direction the player is in when the player is out of the map view.
* Zooming in will now be smooth as in the minimap mod. Might not look that good but still better than before, in my opinion.
* Fixed lighting errors.
* Changed the default settings key.
Guys, 1.9 edition will only come out after I make a decent 1.8.9 version to work with.
