Well I fixed my problem by reinstall minecraft and forge.
Thanks! And are you still using all of the mods?
EDIT: But yeah, this doesn't even look like what you described. Seems like you have an issue where you have nether data loaded in overworld, which is even weirder, if you ask me.

Yeah, got confused a bit there Could you put all your mods in a .zip and send it to me? Might be a compatibility issue. I'd like to test it for myself though.

You probably also deleted the map data in the process and that's why it's fixed. Deleting the .png files would also work since that's what the mod fails to load.
I'm probably going to release an update with just a lot of bug fixes soon. I'm currently busy with school again but hopefully I'll find time soon (will be busy until 8th of June at max).
When I create a new world in single player, the world map overlaps with other worlds, which I have since deleted.
Don't know if this is a bug or a problem with my system, I've reinstalled Minecraft and downloaded the latest world map version. The map seems to work fine on multiplayer servers

The problem might be that you name the new world the same as the previous one. Is that true? Try to name it something else if so. The issue itself will probably be fixed in a future update.
There is a very frustrating bug in this mod. I was playing on a server yesterday and it mapped out the area. After traveling 4000 blocks and getting off for the night, I come back the next morning to see that the world map only remembers the area of where I left the game/joined. This happens a lot, why does it clear my data even though it clearly shows itself in my configs?

Does the server use compass to point to something?
Does the server use compass to point to something?
I don't understand what that means, all I know is that the bug happens on other servers as well and it's as if the data gets corrupted. Do you have any suggestions for fixing it?

The data does not get corrupted. If the coordinates that the compass points to change then the mod sees it as a new world. That's why I'm asking whether the compass points to something other than the global spawn point. I will make multiworld detection optional in the next update.

Um, the server I play on has a manually set spawnpoint, which differs from the original one. Also, when we sleep in a bed that becomes our spawnpoint instead of the server spawn. I frequently move my bed. Would either of these cause the map to reset, and think it's a new world? I'm having the same issue.

No, changing your own spawn point (with a bed) doesn't affect the compass (global spawn point).
But servers often send the client a custom spawn point so that the compass points in that direction. I've seen some servers use the compass this way without changing the global spawn point though (not sure how).
EDIT: If the server you're playing has a plugin which makes the compass point to your own spawn point, then this would be seen as a new world.

Yeah, my compass points to my bed every time I break it and move it elsewhere. I assume it's the "Essentials" plugin, since we really don't use anything else that could be doing that. So in short, as long as I don't move my bed, the map won't reset? I can live with that lol.

Okay, that makes sense. Not moving the bed will work if the plugin doesn't sometimes point to the actual spawn point (e.g. it's bugged). Making the multiworld detection optional should also help in the future
EDIT: And all of your previous map data files are still there, you can move them to the new folder. You can view the name of the currently used folder by turning debug on in the world map settings and opening the world map. I think it's the bottom-most line on the left side of the screen. It's something like "mw9,0,1".
EDIT2: Oh and all of the map data is in the .minecraft/config/XaeroWorldMap folder.
Weird little issue with the map export, it's just outputting a black image for me. It's rough the correct size for what it should probably be showing, but all black. Playing on a regular Realms server.
