Update b1.0 (MC 1.10.2, 1.10, 1.9.4, 1.8.9, 1.7.10):

+ Added a new option to choose between accurate/vanilla map colours. Vanilla map colours are the same as on regular vanilla maps.
* Fixing lighting bugs.

MC 1.10.2, 1.10, 1.9.4, 1.7.10 updates also contain all the changes from versions a1.0 - a1.5.

when i use the mod i had a solid frame rate of about 200+ but when i opend the map it capped it to 60fps, the only way i could fix this this is going to vsync and turning it on and off again and then it will got back to 200+, but as soon as i opend it again it did it again. please help me fix this

little suggestion is that way points be visible still when not in the viewing area of the map. As in there on the edges of the map but still visible.

Also, not sure if this is because of servers, but, if a server has multiple separate servers, it will reload that area of the map.

basically, reloading the map image, if you go to same coordinates on a sub-server(is that the correct term?).

all in all this is a great mod that i will use for quite a while.:D

Update b1.1 (MC 1.10.2, 1.10, 1.9.4, 1.8.9, 1.7.10):

* Major bug fixes! Mainly the bug where huge areas disappeared from the map.
* Huge GUI performance improvement.
* Improved chunk loading algorithm/speed.
* Map will now save height values for future use. Chunks loaded prior to this update won't have correct height values saved until you override them. This will not affect anything until I do something with it in the future.
- Removed forced Vsync. I still recommend using it though.

Thank you for continuing to work on it or any mod which is precious nowadays. I've had no lag or issues with b1.1 for 1.8.9.

.....however, I was disappointed to find out that the option to set the lighting on the mini map separately from world map was gone in an earlier update. I might be the only weirdo that had the lighting on in mini map and off in world map, but I just see no use in looking at the world map in darkness(though it's pretty) and need to see day/night in the mini map because my home is a hole in the wall. I'm using a clock now.

reason why you had lighting separate from the world map was because the minimap wasn't displaying the world map chunks. You can get this back with an option on the last page of the minimap settings (keep in mind that it's more resource intensive to have 2 mods loading the map)

When i try to open the world map, my pointer pops up like a gui opened, but nothing appears. The frame from that moment is stuck on the screen until i close the map again. So i cant see anything, and i have not changed any settings or mods besides this one, just dragged, dropped, and deleted the old version.

I hope its fixed soon.
