You should make it so cards have a chance to spawn in dungeon chests ;P
We're going to make two options for card spawning, one is mob health based (as it is now), where rarer cards drop as the difficulty of mobs gets harder. And the other option is going to be 'biome' based, where cards drop in appropriate biomes. We actually will default to this second option, to make it more of a challenge. The first option will have a few config options so you can tweak it for modpacks (to make it harder).
It would be nice if we could hook them into chests, but there's some special code in there that prevents low amount of repeat cards. Of course, if they're Inventory Pets chests we could do it :).
We put this mod on our server and its epic! Great work! I made a Strength Boost 3, Regen 3, and, Resistance 3 pet. I might have found some bugs though while doing it; The duration of resistance 3(on the pet I mentioned above) is at 0:00 while everything else is at 10 seconds, so idk if resistance 3 is working. If the custom pet is in my inventory (not hotbar) it still consumes food but I do not have their effects. While I am cutting trees or mining, I seem to have a slowness/mining fatigue debuff but it doesn't show, everything is alot slower though. Lastly, I use the Angel Ring from Extra Utilities and if I have a custom pet in my hotbar and put it in my inventory, my wings stop working, I have to throw them out of my inventory and pick them back up for them to work.

Thanks for the report Godric! Custom Pets is sitll in Beta, so working out the kinks, so this is super helpful.
- The effects should work 100% despite what the timer says, but I will review - Update: Regen 3 was causing problems and so was our 'adjusted' damage boost. Will be fixed in update.
- Ah yes, a Custom Pet should not eat if not in your hotbar. I will check this one too. - Update: will be fixed in the update
- The mining fatigue issue is a conflict with Potion IDs already noted and is already fixed in the update (coming soon)
- Yeah, Extra Utilities needs to update their code. They are not the only mod that allows flight, but the code shuts down flight if players don't have the ring in the inventory :/. I've contacted the mod author already due to same issue with Inventory Pets, but have not heard back. Please feel free to complain (loudly) to them. Theirs is not the only mod that allows flight.

Thanks, GodricTheMighty! Yes, in the Beta build, you'll need to kill something with 100/health OR there is a 1/50 chance against any mob with 20+ health.
Please note card drops are changing in the full release, and will be based on biomes/situations. For example, Resistance Card will only spawn in a Stone Beach, or Night Vision will only spawn at Night.
This option can be changed in the config file to the way it is in the beta, but this will add an extra level of challenge/fun to the mod.

Update: Yes, Regen 3 is buggy. No explanation why, there is nothing different between Regen 2 and 3 code. So, something to do with the vanilla code. I changed the way it's applied and will be fixed in the update.
Im having a glitch where when I want to change, for exemple, the color or the pitch, the switch follow my mouse even tho I removed my finger from my mouse...I can't do what I want :(...So I used random with hopes lol

Yes, but you should wait for the full release, coming tomorrow (late). This beta version has a few bugs that need fixing.
