You should make it so certain cards only drop when you're in certain biomes. Like if you want the Flight one, you need to be in the sky, around 100 height. Or if you somehow find a mushroom biome, the mobs there drop cards you can only get there.

It would be nice to be able to add custom shapes/textures to your pet if you have a download link to the texture (like on mediafire or imgur or something like that)
Yes, we can do that. You can override the existing textures with Resource Loader. Or we are also looking into using JSON.

Nototherium, this is a really good idea. Let me confer with the other member of the team, and see what we can do. Some biomes are quite rare, so this could add new challenge (which is good). I could see certain cards only dropping in the Nether or the End as well.
This is due to both our mods using the same achievement id, I will probably make ProjectE's IDs less generic, but it may take some time to get a fix out.
Ok, this is fixed now in my dev environment. However, we have a keybind conflict, as I'm using G to access the GUI (just like you use G to access to main ProjectE manu). Though easy to fix under Controls, I might add a secondary GUI access key.

IMO its probably best to not even worry about key conflicts with other mods as long as the user can config them, at this point its virtually impossible to not conflict with another mod.
You should make it so that lets say if i have orespawn installed and i killed some bosses they could drop it or if i were to have the lucky block mod it could sometimes drop it if u cannot do it that is ok i really enjoy both inventory pets and this mod

That could be done (I think) in the config. As for the Lucky Blocks part, it needs to be an Add-On, and those are only supported in 1.8
i got another idea how about after you finish leveling your pet you should make it so that once you earn a nether star you put it in a crafting table then you get the upgrades on the abillities that your pet learned x2 but you must have earned a certain amount of cards and you could only combine it with a nether star once
Whenever I try to play, the loading screen says "shutting down internal servers" for ever and I have to shut down to exit. How do I avoid this?

Your client is crashing. Probably some kind of conflict with another mod, or a versioning problem. Can you post your console log into a Spoiler (the ! above), and I'll take a look.

The cards should drop from all Entities... did you mean cards or the Custom Pet itself...?
i meant the card sorry for the confusion u should look at my other comment i am a huge fan of inventory mods and i know this mod will be more than cooler i am now literally making the custom pet
got another idea how about you can save your pets onto a block which will allow you to go on a world and select the pet you want but make it so you have to get a dragon egg to get the pet so it is not to op also make it so you could share it with friends

1.8 or 1.8.9 (or both) ?

i am pretty sure with orespawn installed with the normal lucky block mod it has a chance of giving you a thunder staff
it is also in 1.7.10
