Yes, this update fixed your issue as well.
And here's a thing. I don't owe you anything. I am not your employee, and I am not obliged to follow your demands.

i can translate or "only what i write" or "only the chat"? why?
No, you can do both.
That little "?" button on the top right tells you the explanation.
"Translate language (chat)" means what should the CHAT be translated to.
"Translate language from" and "Translate language to" means translate YOUR MESSAGE from language to language.
I feel like I am the other side of the spectrum from others in this thread, I find that the translation are picking up MORE then what I would want. Is there a way to add an 'ignore' condition through the regex?
I need to pick up both "[\w+] %name%:" and "%name%:" but not "[D] name:" or "Owner:"
Sorry if this is real easy but I've done the tutorial and can't seam to find anything on it :C
Update: I have found a work around for the first part (square brackets but not [D]) with "(\[\w{2,}\].%name%\:)" because no titles should be one letter long, but matching the second one is proving more difficult.
Update2: had a breakthrough with the negative look-ahead and found that "((^(?!Owner)(%name%))\:)" is what I was looking for, and that the full command I originally was asking for would have been "(\[\w{2,}\].\w+\:)|((^(?!Owner)(\w+))\:)" but its better to keep them separate because you can only choose one sender per regex. I have learned a lot over this week and hope to one day actually apply them to something.

And to Ringowhs, thanks for the great work.
Thank you. You are probably the first person I met who actually got this working by learning. Congratulations!
I can assure you that you did not spend that time for nothing. Regex is so widely used in industry.
I can't seem to figure out the chat regex settings, I'm playing on a server that uses a plugin to change the chat but I have no idea how to figure out what the chat regex for it needs to be
Edit: I've tried a few things and still haven't been able to figure out the regex, I suppose I just need help making a regex
Here is an example of what the chat looks like:
(村人)rokinyan: どこかのお店で丸いし売ってませんでしたか?
(初心者)taigatoron: こんにちは
This is probably pretty easy, I'm just dumb, although any help you could give me would be really appreciated, thank you!

Hi, can someone help me? I'm trying to make this mod work with NPC phrases on WynnCraft. Is it possible?
Regex that i'am trying to use: (\[\d+\/\d+\]) \D* ?%name%:
Here. Works with all players with and without ranks and clans.
(\[\w+])?(<\w+>)? %name%:
Hi Ringowhs,
Thanks for your help before. It worked. The only problem is that on our server we have two additional rank indications added to certain players which cause the Regex to fail with those players.
We have no idea how to code this. It is a star symbol (for one additional rank) and a * symbol (for the other). Here are two screenshots. I would be grateful if you could help us please.
Due to compatibility problems, the next update will drop support for 1.10.0, 1.11.0 and 1.12.0.
The 1.xx.2 versions are still supported obviously.
It's also easier to maintain for me.
Mod updated! Version 4.3.1
Dropped support for 1.10.0, 1.11.0, 1.12.0
ADD(1.10.2-1.12.2): Added a default regex for The Hive, now the mod will also work in-game.
[Please note: You will need to reset regex to default to add this regex.]
FIX: Issues with detecting the chat due to section signs. Servers such as The Hive should work again.
FIX: Changing translation keys will now not use keys that are unusable previously to reduce chat spam

You mixed up the two options.
It should be translating from Italian to English. Not the other way around.
No, you can do both.

Could you please help me create a RegEx code for Craft of clans server?
There are some options available in chat. Chat displays PlayerName, Rank and Clan. If the player have a rank and clan
Rank is always first and shown between [] brackets. i.e. [Knight]
Clan is always second and shown between <> i.e. <CLAN>
The message always follow the previous after a :
So it could be
[Rank]<Clan> PlayerName: Message
So it can be any combination of the above. Currently the translator works well with players that do not have a rank or a clan or both
I hope this makes sense. Thanks

(\[\w+])?(<\w+>)? %name%:
Thank you very much
Will it be possible to also add a Regex for direct messages in CoC?
This the format: [->] from Steve012: How are you doing?
The mod does not translate direct messages sent from one player to another.
This is most probably the most useful mod I have ever used on a server
Thanks! and yes, it is possible. It's made to support any servers given the correct configurations.

I only see my translation, and when another person writes I don't see the translation, nothing is translated, what do I do?
I cannot reproduce your issue. This can be caused by wrong language detection. See FAQ.

This is the star symbol http://prntscr.com/m9wue9
and this is the * symbol http://prntscr.com/m9wvl0
It only appears before certain players' names and the characters appear to be unicode, not ascii
Thanks in advance
