I found some cool other switch textures for different kinds of switches. The four-setting one would be cool, having each setting control a different door.

Well, of course I have those textures already, but the point is to not use them as I'm not even sure I'm allowed to anyway.
Hi, i love your malisis door mod... it is a rare thing i check all days even when i don't mine.
But can you make malisis switch version for 1.7.10? i play with 80 more mods and a lot are not in 1.8
Sorry, there won't be 1.7.10 version for this mod. As a matter of fact, I'll soon be stopping all development for 1.7.10 entirely when I start updating to 1.8.9.
Too bad. Incredibly simple solution for so many pains (I'm making a complex WarpDrive ship) but no 1.7.10 version.
1.7.10 is still the one Minecraft version.
1.7.10 is already three versions behind, so it's definitely not the one version anymore. If people were asking for more 1.8+ versions instead of 1.7.10 ones, maybe more mod would take the time to update too.
That mod uses a new feature of MalisisCore added in 1.8 that allows me to store extra data for a block without the need for a TileEntity. That feature doesn't exist for MalisisCore in 1.7.10, that's why there is no 1.7.10 version of this mod.
Please don't quote the full OP (even moreso, not twice!), edit your post to remove the quote.
Also, yes, I'm planning to update my mods to 1.8.9 at some point but it takes some time.
With the PowerLinker in hand, you can't operate "right-clickable" object, including the switch, you need to have something else in the hand to turn on or off the switch.
when i link the switch to any redstone-controlled block it doesnt link properly
You really need to be more precise than that. What do you do exactly ? What happens ? What does not happen ? What are you expecting to happen ? What blocks are involved ? What block are you trying to link ? Where do you place the link exactly ?
See ? All kinds of information that would be way more helfpul that just "doesn't work".
quick question...does the green stone work like the button so it can just be used with regular redstone systems, pressure plates, levers, etc? The video doesn't make that clear.
Simple wireless redstone switches.

I know I can't do it, but if someone could make a light switch model that would be cool
I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE how simple yet efficient this is. I would've used Wireless Redstone by chickenbones but that'd still need a ugly transmiter/receiver.
I'm oh so dling this
Edit: Oh wait, no 1.7.10 version... Well, guess I'll stick to grappling hooks and balconies
