quick question...does the green stone work like the button so it can just be used with regular redstone systems, pressure plates, levers, etc? The video doesn't make that clear.
No, it's just to have different recipes, without any risk to conflict with regular redstone. And if you want to be a bit more RP, you could say that the emeral activates the "wireless" property of the redstone, I don't see any use the dust could have on it's own.
But if you have interesting ideas, I'll hear them out

When I try linking stuff (doors or redstone lamp) the connecting line shows and the switch switches from red to green but the door/lamp doesn't do anything. I have the most recent version of the the core and this mod.

Can you post the full log, so I can see if there is anything wrong in it ?

OK, just making sure I wasn't suggesting something that already existed. So my thought was adding wireless versions of levers, pressure pads, player sensors, weighted pressure plates, etc. to extend to functionality of this system you have. I love the simplicity of it and would like to see more options for switches.

Well, I plan to have some sort of "relay" block, that will simply transmit wireless what it receives, so placed against a block powered by a lever, it will set the redstone current to the linked positions.
I would also like more skins for switches, but I can't really do them, and go no one making them for me

Nothing concerning MalisisSwitches in there.
Does it happens with only my mod installed ? If not, can you pinpoint what mod conflicts with it ?

Well, vanilla switches operate the doors and things fine. The screenshots attached were taken with just your mods. Linked door and redstone lamps, flipped the switch and...nothing happened. Lights did not come on and door did not open. The linking lines showed that the lights should have come on and the door should have opened. It is not causing a crash. Nor is there any apparent conflict(the doors from MalisisDoors don't show up in JEI but that is a different thread).

Forgive my ignorance but where would I find that log? Since it didn't cause a crash I don't know where to find them.
You'll find a logs folder alongside the mods one in your minecraft directory. Post the contents of latest.log file (inside spoiler tags please).
