The new update, v2.1.4a is now live! This update introduces 4 new armor sets with unique, non potion set bonuses along with new recipes and achievements. The website has been updated for this update. Again, if there are any issues, please let me know.
Another update has been pushed out, v2.1.6a This adjusted how Clear Cobblestone, Clear Stone, and Clear Wood interact with each other when placed (side culling),came up with a better way to issue a Double Jump that makes servers very happy, and adjusted the Celestial Armor: Ability - Flight to decrease flight speed by 75%. We don't need anyone going all Super Saiyan.
So I don't know where else to message you when something doesn't work with your mod, but I'm really upset with it lol. So you added a new set armor called Celestial, the chest piece uses a nether star to create. When wearing the full outfit the person is supposed to have "flight" and "no fall damage" so I tested it and the "no fall damage" portion works, but sadly the flight doesn't.
I re-downloaded my mod from curse and ran it on Forge 1865 via single player and I could fly with all 4 pieces. Then started up my multiplayer server and again, was able to fly. Also tested it on my laptop both ways and it worked as well. To fly, you must double jump like in creative.
Just have a few questions:
Are you testing via singleplayer or multiplayer?
What version of Forge/MC are you using?
Do you have just the Celestial Chestpiece on or all 4 pieces of the set on?
I made a facebook so that people can get in contact with me about problems until I find some kind of bug tracker to use.
All 4 pieces but modpack author said he's encounter mod's where it prevented flight, and that's what it looks like, I'm assuming your mod and armor plus mod aren't playing well together.
Well ThexRetroxGamer, I have tried a few modpacks and flight is working for the Celestial armor set. The way my armor works is that if you are not in creative and are not tagged for "allowFlying = true", it toggles on while the armor is on. It just extends the vanilla player capabilities, so another mod should not affect it, unless the mod is messing with vanilla methods, which is a big no-no. I even tried o set the allow-flight to false on my server and it still didn't affect flight.
If you can get back to me with the modpack you used, I can try it there.
I've also been trying to debug modpack flight and so far I've found the following mods interfere with flight:
ArmorPlus (configurable, but disables its own flight)
Slurpie Dongles
Grapple Hooks
ArmorPlus and Slurpie Dongles do this by setting the player's flight capability to false if the player is not wearing their respective armors. Of the mods I've tested only yours and Baubles Stuff don't interfere with each other. But I can't find the code for either to let the respective mod authors know how to fix their mods. I'm guessing this should be something relatively simple like not setting the player entity to isFlying=False
@Sironin, With my mod, I do a check based on gamemode and, in this case, my pieces of Celestial armor. It checks for survival, then the player's allowFlying flag and temporarily changes it accordingly.
Both code snipits need to be reworked by their authors. The first one does a continual open check for specific pieces of their armor, and base game capabilities via the config option. That alone will mess up anything else trying to utilize the vanilla game capabilities of flight as it is issuing a continual blanket statement.
The second code does an onPlayerTick Event that is very similar to the first snipit. That continually refreshes on the player which again, blocks out the use of vanilla flight.
My code is tied to my specific pieces of armor only when equip in any of the 4 main armor slots. It only does something when worn to prevent any potential conflict. Nothing I can really do about their mods unless I wanted to write my own "flight" code, which would be like reinventing the wheel.
I really appreciate the post @Sironin. You are a gentleman among men.

Thanks very much for the explanation. I've done my best to explain it to the relevant mod authors and hopefully they can fix their code.
Hello. I am the author of Slurpie's Dongles. I was wondering if you could share your Flight code with me so that i could fix the issue with my mod where it disables flight for other mods, except mine?

Update v2.3.4a is now live. This adds new crops, and trap doors, along with other various things. I also updated to 1.9.4. Actually, I created a 1.9.4, 1.9.0 and 1.8.9 version of the v2.3.4a update to bring all versions current.
If people want a 1.8.8 and/or a 1.8.0 version, just post here or send me a message via Curse and I will create one.
Next thing I am looking into is to bring my new version to 1.7.10!
Pushed out update v2.3.4b. With this, I rewrote the way that Celestial Armor flight bonus affects the player. The affect will now correctly be
removed if the inventory is cleared via commands. I also created a config option to disable the random "Crop Particles" for those who either don't like it, or who may have weaker computers.
Alright! Update v2.3.4c has been released for 1.9.4, 1.9.0, 1.8.9, and finally 1.7.10!!! This update includes a few fixes I noticed and decided to tackle sooner than later.
Note: The custom models I created for Bricks, Pillars, and Ladders are not included in the 1.7.10 version, unless someone knows an easy way to convert .json models to something 1.7.10 can use. These blocks still function the same otherwise! Let me know if I missed anything.
With Mojang starting on 1.10 pre releases, I decided to do a little quality of life changes to the mod. This update (v2.3.4d) focuses on correcting a few minor bugs, textures, and repaving the core methods to make it even easier to handle things and add to (have new blocks in mind). Enjoy!
A new update,
v2.0.8av2.0.8b is available. The mod is almost 100% now for MC 1.9. Also new blocks have been added. Enjoy! The new update, v2.1.4a is now live! Another update! Added animations to all 4 armor sets that can be disabled via the config. Fixed a few things too. Happy hunting!
