hwy. Love this mod. i once hollowed out a tree and filled it with glowstone XD the laughs when my sister mined it XD anyways i am making a modpack for myself but ts 1.7.10 (tinkers construct and botania made me do that) i was wondering if you have a 1.7.10 chisel and bits mod?

C&B is only available for 1.8+ - but as cattrfly pointed out the mods your wanting to play with are also available for 1.8.9.
Algo, can you put in the main post that you wont be downgrading to 1.7.10?Ppl just can`t realize you have to go upper, not lower because there are more like them, that don`t want to go to 1.8.+
it`s rather hard to leave a great mod behind, but this is the way to find other awesome mods
Its already in there, "I don't intend on back-porting either mod to 1.7.10 or earlier so please do not ask."
i got small problem, when blood magic 1.8.9-2.0.0-17 is installed i cant climb stair block that was made with chisels and bits, this block is same dimensions like vanilla stairs, so im not sure what mod is causing this problem.
also im curious if config option "balance settings" {
I:bagStackSize=512
is editable or it has to be 512, and what do i have to type here "D:bitLightPercentage=6.25" to make every glowstone bit to emit light?

I investigated and found that this was a bug with Blood Magic (one introduced in v2.0.0-17). In his event handler, WayofTime set the default player step height to 0.5f, since in previous versions of MC that was the default. It's since changed to 0.6f. I've just opened a GitHub issue about it.

The purpose of a config is to allow a value to be changed by a user; they are all editable. Also, you should use the config GUI ('Mods' from the main menu or 'Mod Options' from the pause menu), as there are often tooltips with additional information. This is the case here. The GUI tooltip reads "Stack size of bits in the bag: Minimum of 64, maximum of 99,999".

It is a percentage. You get light with 6.25% of the bits filled if set to 6.25. If you want even a single bit to be able to emit light, it should be set to 0%.
I really take too long to write messages... The redundancy was not intentional. Sorry Algorithm.
Firstly I need to say this is an amazing mod. For decorators, builders, and perfectionists...the only limit here is our imagination! The possibilities are endless! Here's the random first item I made with it - thought my swamp area could use some 'life'
This will be changing in C&B 1.9, along with most other materials, most things will be chisel-able, like dirt and sand.
I'm very glad to hear this. Was just starting a build and wanted some natural growth looks but couldn't cut grass. Will this also include leaf blocks?
Still getting comfortable with the controls and modes of chiseling. My main question is - when I was placing bits one at a time, bit by bit, via right clicking, there was a moment when I did something different or perhaps pressed an additional key, and instead of going on placing one bit at a time I had the option to drag out a line or a cuboid shape of my choosing and that area would be filled with the bits. Which is *so* much easier for certain times, ie like when I just want to fill the interior of that duck with all brown wool bits and not do it one by one. However I cannot for the life of me remember now how I did that xD How is it done? Help would be great appreciated!

Right Click - to changes between one of several different modes.
Shift + Mouse Wheel - cycle modes up/down.
Optional Key Binds - set specific chisel mode without cycling.
Right click cycles modes forwards and shift right click cycles mode backwards. The optional key bind is Left Alt by default; it opens a radial menu (press the key, hold cursor over the mode you wish to set it to, then release the key).

Actually I forgot to put the Menu on the page.. ( added it now. ) The optional key binds mentioned on the page are the extra buttons, you can bind a key to a specific mode, so you could set J to single bit, and k to drawn region for instance.
I generally recommend using the menu, and setting your most commonly used mode to a second key bind so its easy to "reset"

I would love to make glowing runes. Searching Curse, I can't find a Mod that adds glowing blocks...I'm sure its there somewhere.
Searching (google) 'Minecraft FCB' I get a bunch of interesting (but useless) links to Minecraft creations commemorating the Barcelona Football (soccer) Club.

FYI: Tinkers Construct & Botania, as well as lots of other great mods (like this one), are available for 1.8.9

Seems to be an issue with blood magic, https://github.com/WayofTime/BloodMagic/issues/618 from the looks of it.
bagStackSize is editable ( wouldn't be much of a config option other wise ), it does have a valid range tho.. I believe its 64 - 99,999 or so.
as for bitLightPercentage, 0.0001 should make a single bit glow at full brightness.
I'd recommend editing configs in the gui there are tooltips and more friendly names.

Heh, no problems, also looks like WayOfTime just patched BloodMagic it so should be fixed in the next build probably.
Excellent.

shift and use your scroll wheel while holding a bit until you get there
Controls:
Right click cycles modes forwards and shift right click cycles mode backwards. The optional key bind is Left Alt by default; it opens a radial menu (press the key, hold cursor over the mode you wish to set it to, then release the key).
It does now... glad someone mentioned it for it might have been left out.

Ahh; gotcha.
I am new to this mod but have to say that I am very impressed.
Is there any way to transfer/import new blocks or designs into new worlds or are designs stuck in the world where created?
Thanks,
Iz
There is no way to copy them yet, but I do plan on adding a way to share and move designs between worlds.
I have a noob question. What is FCB?
