Do you think it's possible to add in a chisel/new item/config with the capability of chiseling blocks, but replacing the chiseled area with the next item (to the left) in the hotbar, It'll be easier and faster to replace bits.

I'm not entirely sure what your asking for here..
But if your trying to replace bits, I'd suggest updating and using the replacement option on the radial menu when using bits. It lets you replace parts of blocks without chiseling first.
Hello i dont know if this is an issue so i come to ask here : I'm trying to use the Tape measure so it work fine i can select thing in radial menu but suddently the color turned to gray so i try to change if by selecting another color in the radial menu but nothing happen, it say "Color - White" then i use it and it turn back to gray, i try to change it again and gray again, what can i do about that ? Are you saying that the selected color is always changing back to grey? or that no matter what color you select they all appear as grey?
Have you tried reproducing the issue in a new world? Tried making an instance with just C&B and seeing if the issue persists?
Hello Mr. Algorithm. A group of us are playing on a modpack called Quantus, and we have your mods in it. They do seem pretty cool, but we are having issues with your FCB mod and was wondering if you could help. So far we only narrowed it down to the Configs, and of your FCB mod. We aren't sure why this is happening, but it is stopping us from playing the modpack. This modpack is 1.10 minecraft, so it probably isn't as fixed as previous versions.
if you need to look at the config settings, I can ask the Server owner for those. We are currently looking for a solution, and would like your help.

You have not given any information as to what problems you're experiencing. Also, it's best if you report such things via the GitHub issue tracker.

Wild Speculation
Since its FCB and config related, I'll make a wild guess and offer that perhaps someone has added many shades and hues?
If so your probably getting a warning about Block ID's when starting the game?
If so you'll need to either reduce the number, or install NotEnoughID's; Minecraft by default only allows for a certain number of ids, and exceeding that will not work, NotEnoughID's seems to work for the most part if you accept its limitations ( see NotEnoughId's page for that ).
If that is not your issue you'll need to give us some information, My wizard like powers can only go so far unfortunately.
First want to say, I love this mod!! So many possibilities and so much customization! Well done!
I'm having an issue when using the chisel on a block. Instead of giving me one "bit" when I left-click a block, it gives me 343 bits (almost 5 1/2 stacks) of material. A couple operations and my inventory is full, and massive amounts of bits are left on the ground around me. I'm using Forge 1.10.2-12.18.3.2185 and CAB 12.11.

Any ideas?
What mode are you using? There are many different modes, you can use the menu to select it, ( alt is the default key )
You probably also want a "bit bag" or 2 to keep your bits in, blocks contain 4096 bits inside of them, so without a bag you'll run out of space rather quickly.
I'm using "large cube" mode. How many of those kinds of bits are there per block? One click on the corner of a block gives me 343 of them.
Large cube removes a 7x7x7 area centered on the selected bit, so 343 bits is accurate. Plane mode for example removes a single 16x16x1 area, so 256 bits, Single Bit Mode removes just 1 bit at a time.
C&B dosn't give you a 7x7x7 micro block when you use large cube, it gives you the bits that make up that section, an entire block is comprised of 4096 bits, you can place the bits in the same way using the same menu, placing them in cubes or planes or lines.
As I mentioned before using the bit-bag is the preferred means to manage your inventory, since it stores up to 32,256 bits using the default settings ( 63 slots, 512 per slot )
Is it possible to use C&B 13.8 (1.11) for 1.11.2? I'm having problems on both client and server, blocks that have been chiseled have no collision at all. Is there a simple config I've overlooked, or is it a compatibility issue? I've got colossal chests and storage drawers, along with libraries.

You need to update to 13.9 - 1.11.2 support was added in that version.
I just updated chisels and bits and chiseled leaves now have transparent parts, like normal leaves can have. I don't want this. Googling indicates it was a bug that they weren't like that, and that fixing that bug is what now makes them this way. Is there a setting to reverse this? It doesn't adhere to Optifine tree detail rules and now a bunch of hedges put there to hide underground systems are visible.
One little question, C&B now compatible with MCMultiPart, but now released ForgeMultiPart CBE (for ProjectRED). Because MCMP and FMP are not compatible (for now), whether it will be difficult to adapt C&B to new FMP?

I'm just a very boring person.

That strange, it's back to normal now, i cant get how it happened. I will be carefull and if it rehappen i will say you what it does.
I'd also suggest keeping what else might have changed to in mind, its possibly another mod interacting with it.

As Phylogeny stated, I can't offer any help if I have no idea what the "problem" is. If you have a bug to report please do so to the appropriate tracker, FCB is https://github.com/AlgorithmX2/FlatColoredBlocks/issues

Ok, that makes sense. Thanks for taking the time to explain it.
This cant be used server side only can it?
No, it requires a great deal of client side content.
