I've run into an issue that I can't find any info for in the FAQ or with a search engine. I'm updating my server world from MC 1.8 to 1.12 and whenever I load up the world in 1.12 (with the mod installed), all the Chisels & Bits blocks turn into seeds and purpur stairs. All the mod items in my inventory are still there, and I can use them just fine, but pre-existing placed sculptures are replaced with other stuff. How do I update my world without breaking everything? Do I need to step it through all the updates between 1.8 and 1.12? Is there a world updater program I can run?
Whelp, Minecraft is officially dead. The only reason I returned to Minecraft is solely because of the mod. Making Jeb a lead game dev was potentially the worst thing Notch has ever done, even worse than selling Minecraft to Microsoft. Because of Jeb's awkwardly stubborn attitude, we cannot furnish our homes which most of the game is about building. I mean really, he expects us to use stairs, slabs, and fences, to pretty much make everything.
It's such a joke. Well thanks for all your work man. Really, to me, Minecraft is nothing without your mod. I can only build so many houses, only to realize how empty and lacking the interiors are. Hopefully someone takes over and continues the project. Wonder how many modders still exist after forge stopped updating.
Will you do a version for 1.11.2 where the crafting for the bit tank has a different recipe?
My suggestion is to remove the iron block from the following recipe and replace it with a texture that is a more suitable placement for that matter.
The following problem:
"I do not agree with pooring a liquid such as lava through an iron block."
In the following quote there is the default invisible texture for minecraft, which appears that the liquid is able to.
It is a default 64x64 texture. Lowering it's detail as to it being 16x16 does not make it render right if you were to place it on the desktop and see the texture.
This is what I use for all of my models pretty much, and is what I have replaced the model that came with the mod as the bit tank.
As I am not the author of the mod then I'm not able to change the crafting recipe.
If there was a solution to the problem by changing the model then it would work that way.
Anywhere that there is two blocks or shapes of a model touching, the facing side side of the individual shape or cube is to be rendered invisible or it occurs as something that z-fights that way.
If models are not created in this manner then they consume resources.
The stone chisel requires stone and stick, not cobblestone and stick. For the longest I thought the mod was broken. I don't even know how to craft the wood wrench. Would really appreciate it, thank you.
I love the mod! Here's an idea. For 1.13+ you should make it so that you are able to water log chiseled blocks. I dont know how hard that would be to code but its just a suggestion.
Hey can we have underwater functionality, Trying to build anything underwater with chisel and bits really doesnt work, i know this is a uncommon request but if you have the time i'd love this as a feature. Im not going to attack you if you dont but it's just something i and a few others would love to see
Hey, is there a way to access the Chisels and Bits Cupboard by File Explorer so you can transfer blocks between worlds?

Hello
Is there a way to increase a "classic" bloc size with this mod please ? I mean change a bloc to make it bigger. Thank you for your feedback.
Will this mod be updated to the new 1.14??
Sorry to do this, but I'm officially retiring.

@AlgorithmX2 Sad to hear that, 'cause your mod are my personal favorite...
Is it possible to rescale chiseled structures?
Please update the official website for chisel bits with the new recipes. https://chiselsandbits.github.io/Chisels-and-Bits/

I want it for 1.15.2 so I can pair it with my mods.
