Why do you have a version for mc 1.9 when its not listed as the latest version?
I downloaded & tested this & its flawed on the server & single player. The big flaw is when you chisel a bit of a block & decide its not the block you want to use, so you chop it with your pick, axe or whatever, that block vanishes as you cant collect it. But then from that point onward you cant walk through the space the block used to be & you cant place any blocks their either as if there's something invisible blocking you.
This really needs fixing as its the only flaw I've found for minecraft 1.9.

The latest version is the latest release build I believe, and 1.9 won't be marked as release until forge is officially released ( as it is currently beta and subject to breaking changes ).
I attempted to reproduce the issue but was unable to, both single player and multiplayer functioned as intended, when a chiseled block was broken with a pick it dropped, and I was able to pick it up, no phantom blocks.
Do you have any other mods installed? Is there any other details you can provide to reproduce the issue?

thats more about your server's connection than the mod itself, this tends to happen with anything that involves breaking a lot of blocks quickly in a server a bunch of them will be left as ghost blocks until you exit and enter again, and to everyone else that block should still be there
shouldnt be a problem with how minecraft and the mod renders the bits but i dunno

There is a bug that can sometimes occur on minecraft 1.9 with redstone pistons, and other things.
I haven't ran across the bug personally, but I'm certain I could solve it with /fill stone then air. (or destroying the blocks that need to be destroyed and relogging.)
This bug was fixed later on in the 1.9.1. Listed in the updates on mojang (direct reference here: http://mojang.com/2016/03/minecraft-191-pre-release-1/)
Its most likely to do with a bug that minecraft has itself. Whether or not forge 1.9 will have this bug or not when it has a recommended file, I cannot say.
But, that's what it sounds like to me.
Also, if you don't have vbo's on see if it doesn't happen with vbo's on :P.
Hi, Sorry I been away. I've removed the mod for now until its officially released with forge 1.9. Only issue is now my forge server displays missing ids from world during initial loading but can't see any effects on the game.
I've used this mod for single player though & I do like it a lot. Are designs savable by the way using those saving template things? I would hate to have to calve the same item twice or more.

A design saving / sharing system is in the works, however its not complete yet.
Hey, is there a way to combine our bits to a full block? I kinda don't want to place bits in 1/2 mode for all eternity because i have way too much bits right now.

You can make a positive crafting pattern of a block, and craft it in your inventory to convert most of your bits back into full blocks.
Another option is clearing your bit bag's contents, if you just want to get rid of them.
I hope I am not asking a question already answered. I tried to find it but to no avail.
What properties does a block have to have to be chiselable?
Thanks! Love this mod. Really the best implementation I have seen for microblocks yet!
The main one is that its marked as a "FullBlock" besides that there are a few things that blacklist it such as if they have TileEntities, and a few other technical checks; if you are interested in the technical stuff check the github.
First off, I would just like to say that I absolutely LOVE this mod. This is everything and more that I wanted from something like Forge Multipart. I have so many awesome ideas I want to mess with with this mod(especially after the implementation of water bits).
One thing I would absolutely love to see from this would be a way to make the object you create into some sort of multipart structure or an entity. I was thinking of this when I was looking up references for a Vault-Tec Vault door, and was thinking about how awesome it would be to have to door actually move. I dunno if that's a thing that's physically possibly, but it would be awesome if it was.
Just to question, but is there some kind of behind the scenes going on with cubic and block generation in the 1.10 nether..?
Or cubic block generated worlds for that matter in general..
because cubits would look nice in cave systems and on mountains
C&B isn't a super lightweight mod, it uses tile entries to store data about which bits are in the block, and while it tries to be efficient at this there are still limitations. And doing C&B world gen is a quick way to reach those limitations; So overall I think its a bad idea, at least while certain vanilla code still causes issues with large numbers (over a million usually) of tile entities.

Thanks, I know that @amadornes is working on a new version of Framez once that is done I'm sure you could use that to build some cool stuff like a Vault-Tec door, it should work with C&B, and both will work with MCMultipart.

The only issue I see with that is the frame only pulling/moving one of the block parts of the door, but not moving the rest. Unless there's an invisible version of a frame, which could basically cover the whole thing and move it as one solid piece. That would be rather neat, actually.

Not sure how its going to function really, there might be a thin frame option tho, so you can hide it inside the bits or something, also maybe the "invisible frame" might be room for suggestions later, heh.

It's a beta release. Flaws should be expected: beta development stage of release cycle on Wikipedia
For future reference, if you click the 'Issues' tab on the Chisels & Bits CurseForge page it takes you to the proper channel (GitHub) for reporting issues, where you can click 'New issue' and create/open a new issue.

Finally I can have beautiful homes!

Hmm, seems I can't delete this. Sorry for the double post. I don't normally post things here. ^^;
