Most servers using Dynmap will use the built-in PHP-based webserver that comes with Dynmap, or will put the files on a proper webserver like Oracle's Apache or Microsoft's IIS. These solutions can use a lot of system memory that would otherwise be useful to your Minecraft server, and can also require a lot of configuration, especially if your server does not include support for PHP.
Instead, Godynmap is a small ~6MB binary executable that you can run anywhere, for a fraction of the memory that the others require. On my system, it averages right around a megabyte and a half. And the best part is that it's open source, so you know that you're not sacrificing security for convenience!
This is just the beginning of Godynmap's development, and I am very interested in your feedback and suggestions. I have a lot planned for despite how lightweight it is, and your support is greatly appreciated. Questions and comments are always welcome.
