Starting with the 1.8.8 release, Pokécube will be split up into a core, and then several mob and feature adding mods.
For developing Addons for Pokécube, the required libraries will be attached as additional files to the curse downloads. Libraries needed will be the Pokécube core de-obfuscated version, Thut Core and Baubles, though Baubles will be included in Pokécube until it is officially released for 1.8.8.
Current Features in Core:
Pokemobs can be entirely loaded in and animated from resource packs. See Extra Mobs for an example of how to do this.
Core currently adds the following items:
- Several Types of Pokécube with varying uses
- Pokedex, which shows info about pokemobs, and is used for changing nicknames
- Revive, you can craft this with a fainted pokecube to revive the pokemob.
- Several Berries, some of which heal, or have other uses
- An assortment of Evolution Stones
- EV increasing Vitamins
- TMs which can be used to teach moves to pokemobs
- Lucky egg
- Mega Stone and Mega Ring for mega evolving pokemobs
- Pokemob Eggs, which pokemobs lay, and hatch into pokemobs.
Core also adds the following blocks:
- Healing table block for healing your pokemobs
- PC blocks (2 parts) for storing your pokemobs in.
- Trading table / TM Creating block for either MP trading, or creating TMs. Place it touching a PC for it to act as TM Creator. It reads moves from pokemobs in the PC.
- Repel Block right click this with berries to set the distance which it prevents spawns from.
- Pokecube Table, used for choosing starter if you disable the login gui in config
Will Add more to this thread whenever I get the stuff sorted.
