Many of the drops are backported ones from the 1.8 version, but of course there are a few new ones. =) Here are a few screenshots:
There are a few old favorites, and still lots of falling structures and spiral towers:
And of course you can climb up a lucky tower, or explore the depths of the spiral dungeon and brave the boss at the end:
And there are a couple new structures too...
There are also some new things, with a couple required mods. For instance, you can get killed by yourself who is even wearing a helmet:
Find a few little fish:
Get some useful Tinker's Construct metals and items (and even if you can't use the metals for anything, you can still make your blocks luckier with them!):
You'll also need it's core mod, Mantle, which should have a download on the same page.
Rename your lucky block mod file to have a z in front of it... So it was "[1-7-10]_Lucky_Block_v5-1-0.jar" before, you should rename it to "z[1-7-10]_Lucky_Block_v5-1-0.jar".
This is to get the luck crafting to work with Tinker's Construct metals.
Copy the contents of the download zip into your .minecraft folder or whatever directory you have your mods, config, saves, ect. folders in.
If it asks you to overwrite files, say Yes.
Note that if you already had Loot++ and had entries in the config files for it, this WILL overwrite those, so you may want to combine the Loot++ config files manually.
Run the game
Go to the resource packs and enable the Spiral Lucky Block resource pack.
First of all, THANK YOU SO MUCH TO FINALLY BACKPORT THIS TO 1.7.10. On the other hand, I have most of those mods in my [private] modpack. However, I don't have Tinker's Construct...is it really necessary for the mod/add-on to play?

O_O i dont have TC or headcrumbs so i wanna know if i need them too!!!!!
Yeah, TC is kinda necessary. Many of the drops and most of the structures use blocks and items from it.
You could do without headcrumbs... I'd say about 10 or so drops rely on it, so you would get empty blocks every so often. It has some really epic things though, so I'd suggest getting it. =)

lol Yeah, that's why PlayerInDistress created the addon system in 1.8. I don't think he's going to backport it to 1.7 though.
ugh i was hoping youd say no it wasnt but if i have to get it ill see if i can >.< and headcrumbs break on my single player world for some reason and i cant tell why XD
Hmm...I agree with you. I also really wanted to use the Spiral Lucky Block; however, it seems Tinker's Construct is not compatible with Optifine (in my case). So...I guess is a nope

Aw that's too bad. I've never had a problem with either mod, so I thought they would be fun and silly additions.
I got the instructions...sort of...hope I can make this mod work :s
Can you just make clear what do you mean by:
"Copy the contents of the download zip into your .minecraft folder or whatever folder you are running the game from (I'd generally suggest not to run mods from your .minecraft folder)."
Does this mean that I have to place the content of the mod folder [that comes from the zip file] into the MAIN Minecraft folder or the MOD folder [where I keep all my mods aside Lucky Blocks]?
My apologies for these questions, but I'm confused [English is not my first language so the instructions were kind of unclear to me]

Ah. Yeah, I did mean you need to put it in the same place as where you have the mods folder with the lucky blocks mod. I couldn't think of a better way to word it.
Did you drop the folders inside the main directory (the folder that has the mods folder, config folder, saves folder, etc. in it), or the mods folder directly? It should be in the main directory, so the mods, config, and resourcepacks folders combine with the existing ones. The most important thing for any lucky block addon in 1.7 is to override the lucky block config file, so make sure the folders combine so that happens, and also make sure to enable the resource pack, and you should be good!
Ok, now that the mod works for me, I have encountered a few issues with it. For example, for some reason it kinds of changes the colors of the biomes shown in JourneyMap's mini-map. This happens when I use the resource pack; when I take it out, it's all fine [regarding the mini-map].
Thus, (this is obvious, I know) the items of the "Spiral Lucky Block add-on" "change" and are left with the missing default texture [purple and black]
PS. I'm using the latest "stable version" (10.13.4.1558)
Hey Everyone!
I finally had time to backport spiral lucky blocks to 1.7!
Here's a link to the 1.8 version of the addon.

Minecraft Fan! And modder wanna be!
Why lucky blocks addons are so hard to install ?
A installer for them could be useful.

Will you also back-port the Ruby Obsession mod?
Minecraft Fan! And modder wanna be!
Actually I can't right now because there isn't world gen in 1.7.10 Loot++ (so no ways to get rubies).

Undowloadable! When I go to the Curse page it says 404 Pange Not Found!
Did you share your crash log with Gany? Send it to him!
Minecraft Fan! And modder wanna be!
There we go, it should be up now. I just moved the page because I had created it in the wrong section.
OK thank you I'll check

So...is this how it should be installed? Please, don't kill me!
For some reason, my lucky blocks are still the same. [I feel I did it wrong, but I have no idea how to install an add-on with other mods]
