Yes, using ore dictionary recipes. I seem to be having an issue with this because my mod seems to need it's own item that has the ore dictionary name that I want to use.
You can go without having one. It's just that without copper, copper furnace will be uncraftable.
New mod update, after a long period of absence I am getting back into things. The change in this little update is to the Crystal Furnace crafting recipe.
New Update!
Version 1.2.3
Adds new creative tab and framework for that config file that is soon to come. Development for 1.9 and 1.10+ versions of the mod has started as well.
TO ANYONE INTERESTED I am currently considering a partnership to anyone with mod development experience for this project, and maybe even future projects. I am asking because It appears that I require support that I can't seem to find anywhere else, and I am not the most active in the mod development community. I would like someone who is willing to commit to the project, and someone who is willing to maintain the project when I am not able to. If you are interested in doing this, go ahead and send me a message, or go ahead and reply to this thread.
Hey there ! Cool mod , im gonna try it! I think it would be really useful if the we could put in 2 or more kinds of items at the same time in theese furnaces.

The game crashes without an item that exists with the ore dictionary name specified in the recipe.
Hmm. Are you in GitHub? I'd like to take a look, if you'll have me.
Then you're probably doing it the wrong way, because it does not for everybody.
Can you show what you have tried (code)?
