This will not suffer that fate, as you can see I have been active since 2011 on the Minecraft forums and have been a Minecraft player since early 2010 and have managed to keep all my content alive and updated for its respective version.
Beta 1.7.3 is a legendary version that must be kept going more than any other version.
Oh wow, a mod for an old beta version, still in development! Just recently started playing b1.7.3 myself. It isn't what got me into the game, but it has the same spirit (I got hooked watching old videos from Alpha, back in 2011). I personally prefer the vanilla experience, but I like what's in this mod! May give this a shot later on if you ever get the server thing working!
Would kind of like to see other future blocks added in, like you did with stonebrick! Namely the other plank colors (always felt weird that birch logs gave me oak planks).
Thanks everyone, this mod is about the "experimental" feeling that beta had, not everything was perfect and there were small bugs here and there, and playing around with ideas in each update. The big feature in this mod is the re adding of Minecart Boosters which was missing from beta 1.7.3 the last amazing beta version, as for the blocks and items they are optional, you don't have to use them
I haven´t played minecraft in a long time, I kinda lost interest with the newer versions. (I joined when the game was at beta 1.5)
I like this mod a lot!
What I would like to see added is the old fire spreading mechanics. Where you could burn down entire forests. I think it was nerved in beta 1.6.
This would be pretty good to add, but maybe make it toggable?
I will add the old infinite fire spreading in the next version, it probably will not be toggleable however if it is, it will be at world-creation and will be per-world because if its toggleable mid-game, ehh what would be the risk-fun in that?
