I love this mod, especially for its simplicity. Razmen, I can tell you've worked on this a lot. Switching the mod to another update can be frustrating; so please don't bother moving it to 1.13 unless other people say otherwise.
I would like to point out a few things you can add or change to this mod.
1. Whenever I break the wolfsbane plant, it makes the sound of stone breaking instead of a plant. Fixing this could possibly be rolled into your 1.0
2. You can probably add an add health option to the wolf upgrades. The npc werewolves have 40 hp and require 2-3 hunters to take down. Player werewolves, on the other hand, at any level can be taken down by one hunter if taken by surprise and if they don't have the silver blood trait. This feature should probably be in a 2.0 version of this mod.
3. This is the most demanding thing and is likely to be as hard as making the werewolf thing from scratch, so I won't be at all surprised if you don't do this. Players would probably really love it if you add a hunter option to the mod. Players love variety, that's why they install mods, and allowing them to become hunters would be a great idea.
The npc hunters are special, for one thing, they can run really fast. This could be one of the things players could get, if they choose to be hunters instead of werewolves, among other things. They could drink a wolfbane potion to be immune to lycanthropy and become a hunter. They could level up by slaying werewolves and get abilities and increased traits such as speed (like the npc hunters), attack speed, and other things. Abilities could be like detecting werewolves without a moon pearl, additional crafting recipes (such as those wards from 1.8), possibly recruit other hunters, and other such things.
This should definitely be in a 2.0 version. Thank you for your time.
I really want to try out this mod in it's fullest, but I just don't understand most of the mechanics, and can't really find any good tutorial, could you add a guide or explain everything somewhere on here?
What part is confusing? Werewolves spawn on full moons in Forests, this is any sort of forest as far as I can tell. If you see hunters, then werewolves probly spawn there.
Either, avoid forests OR... run up and punch a werewolf untill it mauls lycanthropy into you. When you have it you gain werewolf exp by killing things with your bare hands (maybe tools later, untested) When you get enough exp you can put points into werewolf stats when you bring up the menu (you can change the hotkeys if they conflict)
Every 5 levels if you go to sleep when you have a Moon pearl in your hands (those things some hunters use to tell that you are a werewolf) You wake up in a dream world and do a task to get werewolf powers.
Beyond that its trial and error on how to make your werewolf feel right to you. If you dont like werewolf you can always brew a cure with wolfbane
Hi there ! Is still Razmen alive ? 'cause i wanted to talk with him about moddeling, i wanted to make new skins and models for the mod, making the werewolves look like those from Skyrim with more Skins, and animations, but i can't if Razmen don"t approves or if he left the mod developpment ^^'

I am having a bug causing the dream
forest not to generate and i just get stuck in space. I have deleted the
DIM-HM-FOREST. I have installed; Mo villages, howling moon, vampirism,
modern warfare, ice and fire, mantle jei, Tinkers construct, Enchanting
plus, bookshelf, metallurgy, journeymap, and millenaire mod. Are any of
these mods causing the problem? Thanks for any help

I have a problem since the first time I downloaded it when a werewolf me golea does not infect me, I tried thousands of times with different werewolves until I got them out of the creative ... even though I downloaded the mod from several pages it always happens the same way probe in a mac that I have and in the same way does not infect me ...
And it would also be nice to add a command to be infected and not directly transformed[/pre]

Hey, I love this mod, but it has a lack of instructions or tutorials. I had the moon pearl on the 5th level and slept. I spawned in the place were it told me "you now have the ability to shift into a wolf". But it did not tell me how to change into a wolf, so I had to go into creative mode to break the blocks because I was too big to fit through the gaps of the trees to get to the next area it told me to go.. And it didn't tell me how to howl either so I'm confused. Please tell me what keys to press in order to do those things
I'm not sure why, but for whatever reason, whenever I transform into a werewolf while using shaders of any kind, I can see water through the ground and some shaders don't even render the ground at all, but everything is fine when I transform back. This happens even if the only mods I'm using are this one and Optifine.
