2 quick announcements...
First announcement
We're still on schedule to release RTG 0.6.1 tomorrow, which will include only backwards-compatible bug fixes and enhancements. However, there are quite a lot of changes in 0.6.1, so we'd like to release a snapshot of this version later today to iron out any kinks before it goes live. If anyone's interested in testing 0.6.1 before it's released tomorrow, please PM me and I'll provide a link to the snapshot when it's available.
Second announcement
In case you haven't heard the news, the Streams mod has been updated to version 0.2, which resolves the issue with streams cutting through RTG mountains. Instead of cutting through the mountains, the streams now 'tunnel' their way down through the them:
Hurry now while supplies last!!
Oh, it's awesome! There is no limit to perfection.
EB Rocky Hills has a temperature of 0.25 and EB Fens has a temperature of 0.2, so technically they're both cold biomes, although neither of them have been registered as 'cold' biome. It can sometimes snow in cold biomes, which might explain the snow layers. That's the first time I've ever seen a snow-covered EB Fens though, so... maybe you just got (un)lucky?
What's going on in that last screenshot?
.
OK, thanks. But stone beach must not have snow.
P.S.:
I'm really don't now, but it,s funny. It's Millenaire and Streams bug.
I hate to complain but I'm now having trouble with Oceancraft (JAS and CMS did not work out with Mo' Creatures or Abyssalcraft).
The game loads correctly, the world spawns normally... but there always seems to be a world border about 16 chunks from spawn (far render distance) that prohibits further world gen, and I assure you this is not lag.

[Client thread/DEBUG] [FML/]: Found a candidate zip or jar file Oceancraft-1.4.jar
This is the wrong version of Oceancraft. Version 1.4 is for Minecraft 1.7.2. You need version 1.4.1 which is for Minecraft 1.7.10.
The download links for 1.7.2 and 1.7.10 are backwards on the Oceancraft website. The link for 1.7.2 gives you Oceancraft 1.4.1 and 1.7.10 gives you Oceancraft 1.4.
Everytime I spawn a new world I am always situated in the middle of a GIANT ocean. Sometimes the land mass is still large, sometimes it's just an island. But always, always I am next to an absolute gigantic ocean (I'm talkin' 20kx20k+). What is causing this? Anyways to regulate the size of this thing?
What are the differences between this mod and Ted's Realistic World Gen mod? Been looking at both and considering which one to download, but they both seem so similar.

You don't need a parachute to skydive, you need a parachute to skydive twice!
This mod supports literally hundreds of different biomes from all the major biome mods and a couple of other mods that add biomes as well. It also supports a variety of different biome layouts, including vanilla, Climate Control with all its customization options, Biome Tweaker with all of *its* customization options, and Enhanced Biomes. The RWG biome layout is comparatively simple, doesn't make good maps, and won't allow oceans. This mod is also being actively supported so you're much more likely to be able to use it with other generation mods like Streams or Underground Biomes. Finally, this mod has many more options for customizing the biomes, with more to come.

Geographicraft (formerly Climate Control) - Control climate, ocean, and land sizes; stop chunk walls; put modded biomes into Default worlds, and more!
RTG plus - All the beautiful terrain of RTG, plus varied and beautiful trees and forests.
Better Forests Varied and beautiful trees and forests, in modern Minecraft.
May I just take a moment to say that 0.6.2's world gen (with Streams 0.2) is quite phenomenal. I have fallen in love with RTG...again. Streams tunneling through mountains creates one of the most unique features I've ever seen in Minecraft world gen.
This Streams river honeycombed the hill underneath the autumnal forest. It's quite spectacular, like the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland.
Not to heap all the praise on Streams. The new forest decorations and trees are looking better and better with every release.

I just want to be confident about something working. I'm using RTG+CC+Streams+BoP, and I want to be sure that all of these are playing nicely together. I suspect RTG/CC may not be, as the size of the biomes are depressingly small. When it comes to biome size, which of these takes precedence? I'm assuming CC?

CC should take precedence. I've been getting persistent reports of small biome sizes with BoP, but I can't reproduce it. If you do something extreme with the CC configs like only medium islands or all snowy, is that what you get?

Would you really rather have bees that make diamonds and oil with magical genetic blocks?
... did I really ask that?
I have tried the 1.9 prerelease. It is pretty good so far but I can't keep playing it, I just can't stand anymore the vanilla terrain generation. I hope some day in the future, this mod gets ported to fix that.
1.9 is a long way off, because we won't be able to port until there's a Forge. It took 6 months to get a workable Forge for 1.8. 1.8.9 should be a relatively easy port but we'd like to get a basically final version for 1.7.10 first as it's a real pain to modify two different versions in sync.

Why this biomes are so cold (original biomes from Enchansed Biomes are not co cold)? And little fun (it's not your fault, Pink).

Thanks for the help, and I guess your right about JAS and so on. There is no quick and simple solution, as much as I would like there to be one
From the logfile you provided:
This is the wrong version of Oceancraft. Version 1.4 is for Minecraft 1.7.2. You need version 1.4.1 which is for Minecraft 1.7.10.
The download links for 1.7.2 and 1.7.10 are backwards on the Oceancraft website. The link for 1.7.2 gives you Oceancraft 1.4.1 and 1.7.10 gives you Oceancraft 1.4.
Here's a link to to the correct version: Oceancraft 1.4.1
Running the incorrect version (Oceancraft 1.4 in Minecraft 1.7.10) causes this:
...Along with a massive amount of log spam, and this also locks the server, which is why you didn't see any chunk generation.

Thankyou, this has fixed the issue completely, The maker of oceancraft should really fix his download link

Do you have seeds and configs for the ocean and desert hills problems?

The CC changes shouldn't affect the occurance of either of those bugs, although obviously it will change locations.

RTG picked up where RWG left off and vastly(!) improved upon it. It's made quite a bit of progress since I first used RWG several months ago.

I was using it out of the box, as it were, though I *DID* just turn off half-size biomes.
Ok, those of you that know noise (ahem: Zeno, KDot, etc), can you please help me with noise?
