There's a new plugin called Anti-WorldDownloader that blocks people from joining servers with this mod. This is quite annoying when I worked on this base and want to enjoy it later. Please, try to find a bypass for this plugin.
I don't think we'll write a bypass for the mod, because we included some backdoors ourselves, but feel free to take a peek at the source code and edit the backdoors out: https://github.com/Pokechu22/WorldDownloader
Oh lawd have mercy, I'm not at that level of coding and such but thanks anyways!
Depending on the plugin you probably can also message a server moderator and ask them to give you permission / to temporarily disable the plugin. Generally they're willing if you ask and tell them what specifically you want to download.

OK, thanks!
Thank you! It works!
Hi, I just want to say that this is a cool mod, but I have a problem. When I downloaded a world it saved on my creative and the majority of my projects got replaced by the world I just downloaded. Is there a way to fix this so I can have my old creative world the way it was?
If your creative world is named the same thing as the server you connected to, it's likely that things will get overwritten. However, the mod is supposed to display a warning and give the option to backup the world if you've previously downloaded it. But it looks like that check doesn't occur if there is a world there but you've never downloaded to it. I never actually considered the case where you're connected to a server with the same name as a (separate) single player world.
World Downloader does generate some automatic backups, so you might be able to find the world in one of them. These backups are saved in the world folder (%appdata%/.minecraft/saves), along with the world, and by default they're zip folders. However, the backups are generally only saved after the download is finished, so it might not be there (the case where the world's modified before backup is supposed to be handled with that other screen, but here it doesn't seem to happen).
If it's not in any of those backups, there's a chance that windows' previous versions has it saved. I don't think that's too likely though...
Sorry about that, and I'll fix it so that it doesn't overwrite other worlds without warning now - it shouldn't be too hard. Hopefully you'll be able to recover your world.

Hey! I'm not pretty sure if people are active in this thread anymore.. I really need a hand with removing the feature where it sends the message to the server, so it won't detect that I have this plugin. If someone could help me, I would really appreciate it.
TL;DR - Basically I need a hand with removing the thing where it sends a message to the server.

Thanks!
If you request money for this, I can pay.
Source code is available here: https://github.com/Pokechu22/WorldDownloader
Feel free to remove the feature yourself, we will not do it for you.
I there any way to transfer the saved world back into Multiplayer? I have a map I made from a old server and I need to transfer it to mine so I can continue to world on it with friends.
It depends on how you're hosting the server. If you're running it on your computer, you can just copy the world to the new server and then edit server.properties to use it - you may need to rename the folders for other dimensions, though. If you're using an external server host, I don't actually know how to do it but depending on the host there may be a way to upload the world.
However, there isn't an in-mod way to upload the world; it's only capable of downloading.

Is there plans for a 1.9 release? That would be amazing.
As soon as MCP (the toolkit for decompiling the game and creating mods) is updated, or possibly sooner if I can get things working without it (which is somewhat unlikely).

Sorry for the late reply, I've sent the full report and download link for the map in a PM to you. Hope this helps.
That is awesome. Best of luck.
no, we aren't allow to send you copyrighted Mojang file
If you follow the instruction on 1st page 1st post exactly, it will work
also, why do you NOT want the liteloader version, both version are functionally the same
I've just released 1.9a-beta1, which is a version compatible with Minecraft 1.9. Everything from the current 1.8d beta is included; in addition a few other changes have been made:
This version might be unstable, so if you encounter any bugs, please post here or on the GitHub issue tracker.

Umm this doesnt dected the forge in my 1.8.9 forge version?
not my mod but download this mod
This mod doesn't use forge, since forge lacks (or lacked last time I checked) a way to hook directly into specific packets, which I need to do.
If you want to use the mod with forge, you have to use the liteloader version, which unfortunately isn't out for 1.8.9. You might be able to get away with using 1.8 forge and the 1.8 liteloader version, depending on your mods.
I've also experienced some sound issues but I thought they were just due to MCP not properly setting up the assets folder. I'll look into it if it's happening on proper installs too.
