I have added a tiered ability system, in which you can spend your Ability Tokens on upgrading existing abilities instead. Upgrading an ability only costs 1 Ability Token, regardless of what tier it is in. Abilities have also been split up into two categories: passive and active. Passive abilities cannot be upgraded. I have also added a new ability: Soul Bound. Soul Bound is a tiered 3 passive ability in which allows you to keep the weapon on death. If you die with it in your inventory, you will have it when you re-spawn. Outside of new features, several minor bugs have also been fixed, including an issue in which you took damage whenever the Chained ability was triggered.
Full changelog:
+ Added a tiered ability system.
+ Added new ability: Soul Bound.
* Fixed a couple Gui bugs.
* Changed basic rarity color to white; changed archaic rarity color to pink.
* Fixed Chained ability bug in which it damaged the player whenever triggered.

That wasn't minor. I've lost count of the times I died from damage from my own attacks, until I learned to immediately discard any weapon, no matter how good, the moment it gained the Chained ability curse.
(Oh, and I lost several perfectly good horses to it, too. Suggestion: Chained should damage only hostile mobs.)
A minor bug I've found in b1.1.0 You can currently upgrade any ability past 3, which would be fine if it actually made the ability better, or updated the ability to show the next number of level. Like 'Light IV' or 'Poison VII' if you upgraded them to 4 and 7 respectively. Otherwise, it will hopefully be fixed soon.
And if you could add in commands for customizing an items rarity, level, or how many ability points it has, that would be great.
Other than that. Love your mod, and you did a great job with Levels 2. Was definitely worth the wait

I'll fix the issue in b1.1.1. Thanks for reporting it.
I have backported b1.1.1 to Minecraft 1.10.2. Since a lot of people came to me requesting this, I will try and maintain both versions until 1.11.2 becomes the more dominant version. Download can be found here.

so maybe I downloaded an older version. are my tools supposed to be unbreakable in 1.10.2? a legendary wooden sword seems kinda nice but a bit unbalanced for it to be unbreakable

Armor leveling/abilities have been re-written for Levels 2. It's noticeably different from the original Levels, in that some of the abilities have changed a bit (and the ones that haven't have changed code-wise). Armors work the same way weapons do, in that to gain experience, you simply have to take damage from an enemy. However, having armor work in a very similar way to weapons might not work the best, so thoughts on how you think it works is much appreciated. As always, there are probably some bugs with them that I couldn't find in my testing.
Full changelog:
+ Added Armor leveling and abilities.
* Changed rarity damage multipliers from multiplying to adding.
* Fixed some issues where Axes might not work properly with the leveling systems.
Is there any possible way this could be on 1.11 ? it's already available for 1.11.2 but there's no download for 1.11 , i don't mean to intrude or bother , iam just very sad that i don't get to use this amazing mod as i play on 1.11
It should be feasible. In fact, it might even be backwards compatible (probably not, but maybe). I'll look into it though for sure.
Check out the re-written wiki for new information on Levels 2. The wiki should provide information on most, if not all of the features in the mod, while also explaining how to use certain features.

Or maybe just make it so that Chained doesn't work on tamed mobs?
I'll likely change that next version. Thanks!
