I was thinking my problem may have had something to do with the order it was setting blocks as the boilers that were messing up didn't look to be affected by distance.
the chunk loader won't connect to the IC2 e-net so I thought it wasn't ready, and it lacks a recipe.

The ChunkLoader doesn't use fuel and the code structure is a bit wonky.

really? WAILA (WAWLA?) shows that it has an energy storage capacity.
I've checked the code and it does require energy to keep the chunks loaded but will not accept energy. There's no configuration for the energy cost so no, that block won't work until I fix it, on 1.10.

Hey Lem, would it be possible to use radar to get coordinates of other peoples' ships and have your lasers auto-aiming using those coordinates, firing when you push a button? (capping the radar to the max laser cannon range that is)
ok, finally got my ship into space and closed in the engine room. Discovered that I didn't center the center column of turbines. argh! though I'm not going to redo the engine room to fix this....at 71x31x13 it isn't worth my time. I'm not that OCD.
I do want to know if I have to spread out the air generators or can I just lump enough in one location in the room to fill the whole room.

Hi. What’s the block volume of ship that can both travel in hyperspace and land on planets? Wiki and main page here are suggesting different numbers so I am not sure.
Also what would be appropriate size for tha? for example ship that is 10 blocks tall, has both 15 blocks to right and left from the middle etc.

I'm prob not going to like the answer but, can you create a shuttle and have it completely inside the warp field of a larger ship and have the larger ship take the shuttle around or do you have to partially disassemble the shuttle?

1.10 will have tiered ships so big ones can 'carry' smaller ones

Ok So in my minecraft. I was searching for a good empty spot to generate a jump gate. I kept tping with the following command
/tp ~ ~ ~1000
Until I thaught I saw a broken ship. I said. Hmm well that doesent look perticularly normal? The following and prictures I had taken
I swear I did not make this.
It's the space station base structure from the original mod. Too bad the cargo dropped it during transport...

please can you please make a way to turn the shields on and off with out cutting off their power supply? also can we get rid of the annoying startrek message?

Yes you can with LUA scripts.

You can easily do that as long as your careful not to crash

Lem, here are a few ideas for you to consider:
-Thrusters: allow ships to turn, number and power determined by volume
-Impulse drives: allow ships to move and sub-light speeds, use less energy as warp drive
-Warp drives: allow ships to move at FTL speeds, tiers for different ships. require warp coils, number determined by volume and warp drive tier
-Full deck life support generator. takes more energy but maintains life support for much larger areas.
-Phasers/plasma cannons/blasters: easier to use weapons. can be used to lock onto other ships or fired manually. power output can be controlled.
-Torpedoes: when fired they continue until they hit something in their path. lots of destructive power.
-Shuttlecraft drives: smaller engines that are much better for shuttles.
I am still willing to do texturing/modelling if you need it.
