Well you'll probably want to disable Gany's Surface's chests otherwise you'll have two of the same (just be careful because existing chests will disappear from your world and take all your stuff with them!).
But there shouldn't be any crashes and the chests should be interchangeable
Oh (But isn't it strange? I can use Gany's Surface which adds basically the same stuff on earlier Forge versions just fine). Well, that's the thing - whenever I try to run any version above that, nothing happens. No crash, the game just doesn't start.
Anyway, that's a pity. But either way, keep up the good work, I'm also a huge fan of your mods! ;D
Strange... are you sure you aren't doing something wrong?
Do you have any logs? I can help you debug what's going on
Well, I'm not entirely sure, but I'm doing everything just as I would with the versions that work fine.
And there is a log actually, I didn't notice that before. Here it is:

I would really appreciate if you would be willing to help me.
I think you're using the wrong version of Forge. The logs keep repeating Forge10.13.4.1481-1.7.10
As for what's going on, I'm not sure... it seems like it can't find the files it needs to download. I have no idea what could be happening )=
Excellent, just the update I was waiting for, thanks! Now I can have aesthetically fitting chests and crafting tables too; no more boring oak or...whatever wood the vanilla chest is meant to be
Though just a small thing, some of the textures seem to pattern slightly weirdly, which doesn't notice for normal planks but does with the fancier ones. Mainly the chests since it's the most obvious on those, and I realise the fences and gates are more complicated models, so might not be so easy to coordinate for those (and it's the across parts of the fence if it's not clear; the post itself is fine!)
Keep it up
Edit: Oh, and one other thing, does this support mod IDs with the pipe symbol yet? ("|") I'm looking forward to filling the gaps in Growthcraft's bamboo blocks

Well the badly tiling was going to happen at some point. Chests are 14x14 pixels and blocks are 16x16, so not all textures will fit nicely on it. I'll see what can be done.
As for the "|" symbol support... I can't remember if I fixed it yet, but probably didn't lol

I'll look into that as well XD
Great, good luck
I noticed that with the fences and gates the tiling was fine on the south and west sides, but the other two were the peculiar ones.
And while you're at it, there's also the tiniest little bit on buttons; you can see perhaps what I mean in the picture; the texture is fine on the other three edges, but is discontinuous on just this one (the short one). It's only small, so whatever if it's not easy, but if you can
But more importantly, the livingwood and dreamwood chests are glitchy; you can put them next to each other and they texture as if they were the same, even if the other chest is part of a double chest. It only works between ones of the same type (like mossy livingwood with mossy dreamwood) if that helps.

Wow this looks extremely promising, i've been looking for something like this for awhile. I'm going to definitely try it.
I almost asked if natura stuff could be added but I forgot they about cover everything already, haha (Well except chests and doors don't craft in threes...)

EDIT: Works well, thanks!
I'll add support for Natura so that you can make chests with their wood
You can always add support yourself using the config file.
This results in an error and the config resetting.
It looks like you backspaced some stuff there that shouldn't have been removed. Here is an example of mine, I bolded what needs to be fixed, hopfully it will help you
Now~! Onto the thanks I promised!
Gany. You are awesome. Ever since I saw the crafting tables in an OLD Direwolf20 video with custom matching wood, I looked around LITERALLY for years to try and find it. I recently found the mod that added them originally, but it was combined with a TON of other stuff that I didn't really need or want in my modpack, as it was already big enough, and I had mods in it that already did a lot of the things it added. So I just want to say a HUGE, HUGE thank you for this. Your mods have added a silly amount to the quality of life in my minecraft universe, and I use a BUNCH of them in all the modpacks I make. (Woodstuff, Gany's Nether, and Et Futurum mainly) Please keep up the awesome work, and being such an wonderful influence on the minecraft modding community. Modders don't get repayed enough for all their hard work and time they put into what will mostly give them nothing in return, so I wanted to make sure that you at least got a nice thank you from a big fan. <3 Wolf
This mod adds wood objects for several mod's planks such as:
-Biome's O'Plenty
-Botania
-Dendrology
-The Erebus
-ExtraBiomesXL
-Forestry
-Highlands
-Thaumcraft
It adds the following blocks:
-Bookshelves
-Buttons
-Fences
-Fence Gates
-Pressure Plates
-Chests
-Crafting Tables
Here's what some of them look like!
-Can I use this on my modpack?
YES! There's no need to ask me
About time I created this page XD
Perfect for Adventure Modpacks I'm Still a HUGE fan Of Your Mods
It's not an artificial restriction, I'm afraid.
That version is already below the current recommended one. You really should consider updating your version of Forge
This works with your Gany's Surface right?
(insert cringy dubstep minecraft intro here)

Do you have any logs? I can help you debug what's going on
Two guys who have Endermen avatar on this page, initiate "Blow up dire's base program".
On topic: cool mod man!

Ah that is cool, i'll look into doing that.
I'm seemingly unable to get the config right, here is my latest attempt:

# e.g.:Forestry:planks | 2 | true | true | true | true | false | false | true

Would it be possible to add doors to this?
