I don't know all of thaumcraft, but i don't think you can get alienis or iter in vis form (actually you can, if you find an ultra rare node that has non basic aspects, but it's ultra rare)...
People who play modded minecraft have no trouble coming up with essentia...Alienis comes from ender pearls for example. I would like an alternative fueling mechanism as well driven by magic. Maybe mana or essentia or let the OPs choose.

Vis as in from energised nodes, not from breaking items down in the alchemical furnace. Elix has a point, though I've not really played through Thaumcraft far enough to say how feasible getting those aspects from nodes would be. I know in the end-game a player could get them no problem with hungry node tampering, but yeah, as far as I'm aware before that, it's down to luck.
The reason I suggested vis over essentia though is that, at least to me, powering something with essentia is just one step removed from powering it with the relevant item(s) directly; like I kind of feel that it wouldn't be hugely different running a teleplate from alenis/iter essentia to running it off ender pearls directly, just requiring some Thaumcraft stuff in between. And that brings the problem that you're either having to go out and grind on Endermen to get more Enderpearls for it, or you just redirect some from your Enderman farm when you get to that level. Vis networks are much more interesting and "magical", at least
But that's just my preference. It would still be perfectly functional supplying it with essentia (though Elix if you do, I'd suggest maybe having it suck it through the air like the infusion altar instead of piping it directly in; at least that's more visually interesting )

Essentia - yes, easy. Vis - no, not easy at all. (Essentia comes form smelting down items into aspects, vis comes from energized nodes)...
Also, do you mean mana from botania? Even if not, i'll still consider it as good suggestion...
Compound aspects cannot be made into centivis (the energy of energized nodes). The process of energizing a node causes any compound aspects, like Alienis and Iter, to separate into their primal components.
You could, in theory, have Vis from nodes that have compound aspects, but the game in its current form has no easy way to harness that vis, since wands only absorb primal aspects, and non-energized Vis can only be tapped by a wand or staff.
Essentia is a possibility. Or you could require something like a single use of a wand capped with a Portable Hole focus.
Having activation recipes for Botania (mana) and Blood Magic (Life Points) would be good as well.
Not sure how this would work with Witchery...and honestly, it flies a bit in the face of Witchery's "low key magic" flavor anyway.

Ok, so i'll implement both ways: alienis and iter in essentia case, their components in vis case - will be consumed by teleplates...
Witchery Altar power? And yes I meant mana from Botania.
The question is: is witchery is really that kinda high magic-y? I could impllement it, but should i???
And anyways, even if it wouldn't be, mana from botania is on my todo list ...
I don't think it's really that fitting for Witchery myself personally, no. Botania and Blood Magic could probably get away with it still, even if it doesn't feel quite so much like it could be actually from those mods like perhaps with Thaumcraft

Update is in progress and one question about LP: should player be killed if he has not enough LP in his network or just not be teleported???
Having a config option to kill them might be ok but I personally believe you should never kill a player over such a simple oversight such as not noticing or knowing about not having enough of something. So I would never want a player killed over such a thing. A message to them telling them why they did not teleport should be good enough.

Ok. That's kinda true.... Too bad to kill somebody for telportation from death XD... Config option, then, everybody???

Ok, so:
Vis, essentia, LP, mana. Anything else???

Yes. Why wouldn't they???

Personally, i think like that too ...

Some bad news:
-In order for update to be possible i have to rewrite a little part of this mod.
Some good news:
-But it will make consomation system more dynamic and easier to implement more.
-I already did that ...

Quick note: update will include one feature in it which seems illogical and with no sense, but updates after it will explain why it is so...

Is there a configuration to have the teleplate texture static instead of that moving wormhole image?
