Problem is the colour shifts with age, I tried the more cyan blue and it did not look very good. I have considered going for a darker blue simmilar to the frost dragons of Warcraft. I'll have plenty of time to perfect it however as variants are not planned at released neither is the ice dragon.

how about teal?it starts off almost white and gets darker

One small problem I have with this mod is that they are not actually dragons, their wyverns. Agin it's just a little problem I have but I still can't wait.

Umm, Raptor made a post about how they're a unique type of dragon, since those are quadrupedal...

However it is they can be distinguished, I just want to be able to be a guy who spots a dragon and lists off its attributes: Fire dragon, red coloration, female, third stage of growth... etc

Gender differences could be indicated with the presence or lack of horns. Male dragons have horns and females don't.

Sorry I truthfully never relly read the main page.

Perhaps instead of a lack of horns females merely have smaller ones? That or some other minor detail like males having tail spikes and females not.

This is looking really cool! Can't wait to try it out when it's ready!

Dang that's adorable. Are you guys using reskinned ender eggs or making new models?

As far as different models go, if it's such a small change, couldn't you just copy the male models and remove the horns?

yep but i read somewhere that dragons didnt have genders and that when they were about to die the lied a egg.
