First off, ever heard of a comma? Second off, no one knows exactly how the flying dinosaurs took off. tho the rest sounds cool, and I would even say that dragons should be able to burst through other blocks so then its harder.

I don't know if this is an easily fixable issue, but it seems that ice and fire mod structures don't spawn in biomes o' plenty. if there is an easy way for me to solve this on my own let me know.

It's been stated multiple times throughout the thread that there's not going to be any other types of dragon other than ice and fire dragons. Pheonixs would be amazing though and so would gryphons and it would make sense to add them as hyppogryphs (which are planned as one of those add-on mods) are the offspring of a horse and gryphon so it would make a lot of sense if they were added.
You can find them, yet they're ray more rare.

even using biomes o plenty i find it very easy to find dragon roosts, the new glacier biome and snow villagers. i haven't found any dragon lairs but that is because i haven't really gone mining that much. you just need to go adventuring a bit to find stuff, thats all. they aren't that rare.
I want to play this sooooooooo much, But all my favourite mods are 1.7.10, Ugghhh why can't they update already ;(

I've found several dragon caverns, but to my dismay, no eggs. Also, I'm getting the Hiccup achievement when killing a dragon. Should be getting the dragon slayer achievement. Using latest version.

Do any Fire Dragon Lairs appear in the Nether? I'd love it if they had a Nether variant! Dimensional variants for lairs could be really cool like having an Ice Dragon appear suddenly in The End to defend a lair while the player is searching for an End City. Either way this a mod that I've got really high hopes for.
If regular is Vanilla then what flavor is your Minecraft?
Dragon Slayer is for killing multiple dragons.
Dragon eggs are looted by killingstage 4 or stage 5 female dragons found in caverns.

Oh, okay. Though, it should be possible to find a clutch of eggs next to a live female dragon. I like the idea of sneaking in and stealing an egg over killing the mama. Tougher, but much more rewarding.
Edit: Killing one dragon gives the Hiccup achievement, whose description is "get killed by a dragon."

That would be nice to have. Btw, how does one position the logs and netherrack when hatching a fire dragon egg? I know ice dragon eggs are submerged in water.
Will it possibly be included in the mod? I'd love to snatch an egg from the mama and run for my life.

They were initially planned but didn't work reliably as the eggs would spawn inside of the gold piles causing them to be destroyed.

Hopefully nests can spawn 2 blocks above the floor of the caverns, which would put them on top of the treasure. Either that or change the cavern to have a small treasure-less spot where there's a chance for a nest to spawn.
Also, can we have pictures of dragon hatching examples? Like what it should be? The book's sketches are a bit vague.
