I personally think it would be neat, if rather you didnt die and a windigo spawn, but instead, you would be possessed every new moon, unable to sleep, and are forced to see in the POV of the windigo, but are unable to control it, almost like in spectator mode. After the night is up, you transform back to a human, and have to find your way back home.

For me, this suggestion could be really nice with the werewolf player system. They transform a full moon and then they are forced to see what the mob does on its POV, while you're unable to control anything. Then, at the morning, they transform back at human and just like that each full moon. Maybe that players could masterize the control at wolf from once you'd passed through a specific amount of transformations, and maybe EVEN transform at your will.
I'd suggest with the wendigo, being able to control it, just that you've been turned like that forever and just can't turn back. Perhaps the developers could create some kind of crazy wendigo curse cure or something to turn them back human, but what i understand, the idea of the wendigo is it being always a demon and a killer. It'd be also neat a motivation for wendigo players to kill other players, like with extreme blood hunger or something.
Perhaps the werewolf is weak just after transformation, and can only become stronger if Animals or Villagers are killed. This would encourage savagery from the player, as they could even defeat bosses such as the Wither as a werewolf if they have enough "sacrifices."

I was trying to fit Heimskr's speech into this place, but it wouldn't fit.
Nice, and as a wendigo, the player can only eat villagers, as that is the only food that will nourish the more than a tiny amount. On online servers, perhaps players, when killed, fill you up to full. As for the cure, i think that it should involve the nether star somehow, you know, add another use for it.

Woah. What on Earth did I miss after all of this time? Vampires and Automatons look amazing, and the Wendigo gives me shivers of anticipation.

Now look, buddy. I'm an Engineer. That means I solve problems. Not problems like 'what is beauty', because that would fall within the purview of your conundrums of philosophy. I solve practical problems. Like, how am I going to stop some big, mean mother-hubbard from tearing me a structurally superfluous new behind? The answer: Use a gun. And if that don't work: Use more gun. Like this heavy-caliber, tripod-mounted little ol' number designed by me. Built by me. And you'd best hope, not pointed at you.
I have honestly never seen better renditions of vampires, werewolves, and the wendigo in any other mod. Well done! I can't wait to see them in game!
I have one major question though. Is there an official plan to make it possible for the player to change form and become any or all of the aforementioned creatures? I have seen much speculation in the thread, and while I have seen many really good ideas as to how this can be done, there has been no official response as of yet. I won't press for the details because spoilers = bad, but a but if a yes/no/maybe can be given, it would be really nice.
Keep up the great work, all the new creatures look amazing so far.
Hey maybe you could help. I used the links to get this mod but it says the libary is wrong an i have deleted an downloaded it over an over again an it wont work. You ahve any ideas
I just got an idea. It has to do with the new ghost mobs. Perhaps there could be different types of them. Some are weaker than others, but the stronger ones are more difficult to find.
If you kill a villager, it can come back as one of three types
1) Specter - This type will posses a villager, turning its eyes red, and it will attack you.
2) Spirits - these come in 2 types, vengeful spirits and haunting spirits.
Vengeful types - attack on sight and are invulnerable to everything but a silver sword, or a sword enchanted by smite. They deal 5 damage (2 1/2 hearts) and bypass armor.
Haunting types - do not attack, but simply follow you from a distance, rearrange the contents of your chests, and on a full moon, will approach you and make creepy noises. You can then defeat them with the same methods as a vengeful type.
3) Poltergeist - These types of ghosts will rearrange chests, take things out of furnaces, mess with you when you are crafting, and, if you don't look at it for too long, you will receive curses in the form of poison, hunger, weakness, and in severe cases, wither.
4) Ghosts - These are general types of ghosts which haunt the area they died, and will attack anyone who gets near.
What do you guys think about this. Let me know in the comments.

Maybe even throw items taken out of furnaces/chests at you or in random directions? Also, the dragon AI may need some more optimization, as I still get some serious framerate dips when playing with them even a few chunks away.

I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!
Yeah, throwing items would add an interesting thing. Perhaps poltergeists are a invisible mob that just follows you when it sees you, and messes with things like chests, throwing things out of furnaces, and throws things out of your inventory when looking at it and using a crafting table.

I'm just wondering if your going to add in new types of dragons or any mobs not on the forum mob list. I was also wondering if its coming out on the 1.12 updates.

if so its a long way out as they already said the new stuff they posted is a long way out and they are only just getting to things they posted before alpha. on that note i think storm dragons or poison dragons would be cool
It'd be very fun if we could be able to play wendigos tho

I have an idea. Maybe, if you kill clockworks, you get gears and bronze. You can craft these into automatons of your own.

Having a weapon with fire aspect to sever the heads should do it. So better get a fire aspect sword.

They made it clear, they are not doing anymore types of dragons, only Fire and Ice.
