Will you be releasing this mod for multiple versions of Minecraft? For instance, the more commonly modded versions, such as 1.7.10, 1.8, 1.8.9, and ahead.
This mod looks terrific! I can't wait to include it into my modded survival world! Definitely keep up the good work!
Another question: What about the Ender dragon? Will it play a part in the mod?
Ya know, on their main page it mentions what happens to those who ask about 1.7.10...
However, to the same effect, I am somewhat curious what version this will release into since I was not able to see that in my scouring. O.O
i like the first cave, though if the devs do use your idea they may need to make the cave entrance a little bigger. (for the massive stage 5s). i like the detail.
If you want ultra HD textures, or any type of texture change, make your texture in photoshop or gimp or whatever (make sure it has the same proportions as the default dragon texture!) and create a resource pack with nothing in its assets except for that texture. Just find where the ice dragon is in the mod's assets and make folders of the same name in your resource pack's assets. Since the mod has not been released yet I don't know where that would go but it would probably be something like assets/iceandfire/mobs/icedragon/iceblue.png.

thats a good point. what will you do with the ender dragon? it wouldn't feel right to go to the end to battle the boss if it is weaker than the ice and fire dragons. it would no longer be a boss.
The devs of this mod should make a progress meter for this mod to show how much of the mod is complete, and o keep fans even more hyped XD
Why would anyone want to do that to themselves? They're getting badgered enough with players poking the back of their head saying "Are we there yet! Are we there yet! Are we there yet!" Now players want them to make a progress meter so they can see when the modders slow down? I know that's not what you meant, but Come On, a Progress Meter.
Imagine that they are just at the edge of finished (according to this metaphorical meter) and they're stuck trying to fix some major issue. It looks like the mod should be released practically any day, they're trying to fix this bug, and a bunch players are playing the "Are we there yet!" game.
Oh jeez, I think there may be a bit of a misunderstanding here.
I didn't suggest a progress bar to deliberately bring stress to the devs by implying "Hey, when is it going to be done!? When!? When!?" I suggested it because I've seen other mods do it, and thought that it would be fun if the devs did it with their mod as a way to keep both patient and impatient players up to date and avoid people from asking "HEY, IS THE MOD GOING TO BE PUBLISHED YET!?", since the progress bar would hopefully keep them from bothering the devs and give them a definite idea of how far the mod is in production. I'm sorry if it sounded blunt or demanding, and I had no intentions of making it sound that way. Believe me, i've been patiently waiting for the release of this mod, and I've never once bothered the devs about it.
Not to sound rude, but I also felt that your comment was very blunt. I'll be perfectly fine with having a conversation about this, though.

I don't think there was a misunderstanding at all. They were just bringing light to the opposite end of the spectrum that perhaps you hadn't thought about. I think we all know your intentions were good in wanting to see the progress and get people excited, but if they had to take a break, got stuck or plain and simply LIFE happened, then people would be crying even more about why it's not out when it's SO close to being released. (this is of course, assuming said progress bar reflects such progress. )
I mean, I absolutely love this mod and all the content i'll bring, and the last thing I would ever want to do is to pressure the devs. I'm sorry about not seeing the other side of the spectrum, though XD
It was announced awhile back that it would be for 1.10.0. Originally it was going to be for 1.8.0 if I remember correctly. Because that's how long ago this project was started. Now it might wind up being released for 1.10.2 at the same time. Or they'll keep with the 1.10.0 with the initial so they don't have to set themselves back with another update.

I don't think there's a difference between 1.10.0 and 1.10.2 in terms of modding. I could be wrong though.

Technically, they said asking for 1.7.10 is considered spam, I simply asked if it was going to happen or not. No request was made.
I am 87% sure it is for 1.10.2

Sure, you didn't "request" it, but it's safe to say that since they don't want to be asked for it, that they aren't going to be making it.

Fair point. I guess we'll have to wait and see, either that or (hopefully) one of the mod devs will reply to us with an answer. Lol

Has the gold treasure texture been replaced or is it still the one I made? I'd like to think I contributed but so much as changed since then. ^^
