Seen lots of cool stuff 'bout this shaders! Been planning on a PC... how well do you think the GTX 960 could handle the highest version?
Its hard to say as it depends on the saved world your playing in but Me and dotModded both have GTX 980's and are getting around 20-30fps using Ultra so a GTX 960 would get around 10-20fps at a guess, if you use the High version you might get around 30ish fps. You will have to just try them out and see how you go but if you use Standard or Normal you should get 50+fps and make sure no to set your render distance to far, I would recommend setting it at around normal+12 or lower for best results.
I would like to know if I could run Continuum Shaders Medium (Or High, if possible) at around 60 FPS on my build (With or without Optifine). It is a budget build, but I may upgrade to a GTX 970.

What about the EVGA GTX 960 SSC 4GB, which is the one listed on my PcPartPicker Build? The 970 is only if needed, since price difference is pretty high.
I absolutley love your shaders pack! You did an amazing job! Got it to work with Clouds-Pack (Modified), optifine, my resource pack (realistic rain, you'll see in the video), and matmos (sound generator, in video). I made an amazing video with all of them in it!
(If it doesn't work, it might still be uploading!)
I find this shaderpack way too dark at night. I would like to bring SEUS night color back. I run the medium shaderpack with a few modifications for my system. I get 30-40 FPS

Hey guys, quick update, we are looking for an extremely fast bilateral filter to de-noise a single channel of a texture2D, best one that is sent to us will become a dev tester and get there name in the shader, we currently have one but it is very slow, I was wondering if anyone could come up with something faster.
I'm getting this horrible blue tinge and I'm not sure what's causing it.
I'm using a Nvidia GTX 580 if you're interested and the only other mod I have installed is More Player Models.
hello, yes this is a problem with the GTX 500 series cards as they are starting to show their age but I managed to find a fix for this (well it fixed it for me on my old GTX 570 rig) you will need to open the file composite1.fsh and go to line 76: //#define GTX500_FIX : just remove the // and this should fix this problem.
if it doesnt just post again and we will see what else can be done.
Does Having a Nvidia GTX Titan X help any at all?
or am i still gonna get 40 to 50 with ultra or would i be upper 70fps?
i mean in battlefront beta the titan x has showed it can and will have a 20+ fps or 10+ on the game even with explosions
just super excited when i get my new pc build i wana run this with my 512x512 texture pack i created that has animations and 3d models galore :oo
20+ fps on the battlefront beta?? My GTX got over 60 so I'm guessing the titan x runs about 80 on the beta
but of course for this shader i think it would get about 50-60 frames on ultra, a GTX 980 gets 30-40.
And as for 512x512 I dont think so, this shader is intended for cinematics not gameplay.

hmm dang :L i no its for cinematics but it be really nice just for use while i build or etc :L
i mean i got 64Gb Memory, Asus Rampage motherboard, i7 5690x but :L idk if that helps my case.
probably not i guess ill just need to do a test when i get my pc in the mail
whats the "best" Shaders for gameplay or 2nd best over all that would be a runner up to this shader pack
Hi! How many FPS do you get with a 960?
Play minecraft. Eat. Sleep. Play Minecraft. Eat. Sleep.

I can run ultra at 30-40 frames with a GTX 980 so a GTX 970 should be able to run normal.

Welp, I can't seem to figure out how to change parallax water speed when rain transitions. ̄ \_(ツ)_/ ̄
Need some info.

Core i7 4790k 4 GHz
EVGA GTX 750 Ti SC
8 GB 1600 MHz Corsair Vengeance
320 GB SAMSUNG Spinpoint drive
GIGABYTE Z97 Gaming 5.
I very much agree. It does get too dark at night.
Why don't you try and find out? Are you building a new system?
This shader is made for cinematics, even my GTX 980 G1 cant run this over 30 frames.

Here is a new Cinematic of the up-coming version of Continuum showing the new water with Caustics
Enjoy
This new feature was made by Sonic Ether and will be in the up-coming release if SEUS, full credit goes to Cody creator of SEUS.
