Okay i tried out Version 1.3 and 1.2.2 but both Versions dont fix the Bug.
When you load the shader make sure to go above ground and then go back under and see if it's better, there is also a temp underground fix in the shader options that you can turn on that may help
Tried 1.2 and it looks great it the above world. Like a previous poster, daylight comes straight through in caves which is sadly disappointing. Also the nether doesn't work either. PBR seems to be turned off in the Nether. So I tried 1.3. I was able to fix the cave issue but the Nether seems to be the same. Also in 1.3, I get more noise on the grassy areas.
So after trying numerous Shaders for the past year or so, still no luck. Especially with the nether and in caves. Continuum isn't the only Shader with this issue.
to lazy to see if this has been asked yet so do you think I should try this with a gtx 870 m graphics card? want to make sure because I have limited data and slow internet

this guy here deserves attention. go visit him pls.
Truth is, most graphic cards will not run it smoothly. I'm on a Razer blade with a GTX 970M, and I can barely pull 40FPS, anything lower than that is not playable...
we both run mobile cards, the desktops bad little cousin. a normal 970 would probably run at least twice as good but looking at your post answered my previous one so good on that

Only getting 10-15 fps on High @ 1440p with a GTX 1080. Have I configured something wrong? This graphics card should not be performing worse than the 980. I get around 75fps with SEUS on ultra.
I haven't found a fix for this yet - with this shader and almost any other I get this ring around me - It won't change even if I increase the pom distance and I'm not sure what's causing it.
edit - it only happens with some texture packs, Balea continued and Realistico it does but with Chroma Hills it doesn't - hope that gives a good clue .
It would be epic if you could put these shaders, + minecraft voxel tech, + RPG maker software, in a bottle, shake it up, and have an amazing new age RPG program.
one of you are working on Pulchra Revisited, i am quite looking forward to that new resource pack in future.. I will SUPPORT YOU for that hard work with a new resource pack! XD LET ME Know when its done, maybe you could pm me to let me know!
I used winrar opened it and moved the shaders folder into the shaderpacks folder. when i click that shaders it shows up as the defalut minecraft shader.
@Them_Big_punkake is minecraft using the dedicated gpu? You might be running it on internal.
EDIT: Not to be rude, but because I'm guessing you recently installed the 1060. Most new internal gpu's can run older seus and some other dynamic lighting shaders. (intel and most other internal gpu's should back off if there is an external one though.)
Every other shaders i use like SEUS and Kudo's works on Ultra at like 85+ fps with like 15 mods. But i keep it at 60 fps as my monitor runs at 60hz.
but with this shaders all it is is white and wierd.
Minecraft is using my GPU as i dont have anything connected to my internal gpu and the hdmi cable is running from the 1060.
how do you just make the coontinum shaders work?
PS. the pic is SEUS
what is compisite 2 error i get when oppening coontinum shaders
Please make sure your using the latest version of continuum (1.2.2 special edition or 1.3 ) you can find the download for these versions on the continuum facebook page as that older versions no longer work on Nvidia cards due to newer drivers

In case anybody was wondering, yes, this shader runs great on the AMD Polaris cards.
why not working on my computer
and just say OPEN Gl is error??????

I've got an i5-4670K + GTX 970
Does this shader work on Mac?
Did you even read the first page?

I know it does not work with Intel HD graphics. However, I am considering using an external GPU like 980 ti.

So sorry for the bother, but I wanted to know whether you would recommend this shader for my computer.
Processor: Intel Core i5-4210U @ 1.70GHz 2.40 GHz
RAM: 8 GB
System Type: 64-bit Operating system, x64-based processor
If you need different specs let me know, I'm not sure how this works.
Which GPU?
