Holding Shift button while on bench Dups the item to every slot on 1.10.2 1.5.3 So the crash is fixed but now you can cheat ur way to getting a lot of things! heh
Hold Shift click on what ever ur creating you will get plenty of it.
the luminescence of the blocks ends up being very opaque and I need to know if I can do something.
I don't know what's happening there. To me, the rounded ones look about the right brightness, and it's the square ones that look unusually light. When I build that, they both look the same.
What video settings are you using?
Are you sure the round blocks are actually made from the same material as the square pillar?
Does this happen with any other materials, or is it just the stone slabs?
Just crashed minecraft while trying to attach the window frame made from ArchitectureCraft to a glass block.
Refer to the spoiler below for the crash report;

Something for this shape would be pretty cool as well (loving the magma spheres):
Like two beveled outer corners facing inwards towards each other with a quarter or 1/8th slab in-between them jutting out a bit.
bevelled (British), (US) beveled, adjective
- I actually had to look that up.
If the model items had the same render distance as..... a zombie. or! even further than that. It would be really cool too.
I believe it should be higher than what it is personally. It would be neat to make like a tank of floating flying spheres or something.
edit:
Bowling! could totally do a bowling mini-game with packed ice blocks, Dropping the item to roll the ball. Oh that would be so cool >.<. Or pinball! ...

Lemme know what I can do. This particular crash happened with one of my blocks connected to a chiseled block from c&b (which the crash does not occur on, but does when my block is connected to it). I placed an architectural block on a chiseled block connected to my block. ---> crash. So it would seem the crash can travel through blocks 1 space.
Architectural blocks made from the translucent type block can be placed on blocks and chiseled blocks 100% a-ok.
Loving having smooth angles again in MC, but the performance hit is pretty crazy compared to C&B.
There are one or two things I could do to improve matters a bit, but there's no getting away from the fact that curved surfaces require rendering large numbers of triangles. The fancier blocks are best used sparingly.
Question, could you perhaps add slab-slopes and a connection part for them?
YES PLEASE!!!!!!
These two blocks I have wanted for ages!!! Much needed for spiral staircases, these two blocks would be of enormous value to any serious medieval castle builder.
I have tried to get some other mod-makers to implement this, but few people can do your "non-cube" shapes. (I mean the vast majority of models are still made from cube/rectangular pieces) XtraBlocks by MindKrafter has a quirky make-do workaround for the above block on the right (okay, it was my model that he put in his mod), but not nearly as elegant as I know you could make it.
Seriously - how much money do you want to make these available in architecturecraft for 1.7.10?

Creative Minecrafter. No build is ever really complete, just "waiting for a better/prettier mod".
This mod is still incomplete when it comes to textures.

I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!
To take the test, check out https://minecraftnoobtest.com/test.php
Do you have (or are planning to add) a block that allows you to join a ridge roof into a roof tile? As you would have where a dormer window joins at the top of its roof into the main roof?
Do you have (or are planning to add) a block that allows you to join a ridge roof into a roof tile? As you would have where a dormer window joins at the top of its roof into the main roof?
If you put a ridge tile pointing towards a roof tile, they should automatically join up with the appropriate shape.

There is a flaw to that design, being there is no center rod for the staircase. If you look closely, that is not a spiral staircase. That, and you wouldn't be able to walk up it, you would hit your head.
Holding Shift button while on bench Dups the item to every slot on 1.10.2 1.5.3 So the crash is fixed but now you can cheat ur way to getting a lot of things! heh
Hold Shift click on what ever ur creating you will get plenty of it.
Whoops, that's embarassing! Can't think how I failed to test that...
Version 1.6.0 is out, fixing the unfortunate dup spam issue.
Also a new feature in this version -- if you make a shape from a block that emits light, you will get a light-emitting shape!
Cool! Now I can have light emitting window frames for shops
I just want to dig a small hole and stay in it now....
Bastards you didn't answer my question.. Why the sides of my wide pillars are darker than the top?..
I don't know what's happening there. To me, the rounded ones look about the right brightness, and it's the square ones that look unusually light. When I build that, they both look the same.

Thank you for coming back to the mod scene <3
Until someone ports this legendary mod I am leaving the minecraft scene. http://www.cosc.canterbury.ac.nz/greg.ewing/minecraft/mods/ArchitectureCraft/#mozTocId598776 I have watched too many legendary mods die and carpenters blocks sudden fallout out of mainstream made me cry. I realize the source is messy but some of the best mods from 1.6.4 and 1.7.10 were.
Just crashed minecraft while trying to attach the window frame made from ArchitectureCraft to a glass block.
Refer to the spoiler below for the crash report;

Or pinball! ...

After:
Greg I'm getting a crash with my portal block here....
My block makes blocks connected to it transparent on the side it is connected on, The crash only occurs when placing architectural blocks on them.
Is there any way this can be resolved but keep the same transparency?
Here is the crash log:

Lemme know what I can do. This particular crash happened with one of my blocks connected to a chiseled block from c&b (which the crash does not occur on, but does when my block is connected to it). I placed an architectural block on a chiseled block connected to my block. ---> crash. So it would seem the crash can travel through blocks 1 space.Architectural blocks made from the translucent type block can be placed on blocks and chiseled blocks 100% a-ok.edit:
I got it man. s'all groovy now.
Loving having smooth angles again in MC, but the performance hit is pretty crazy compared to C&B.
Always room for improvement, gets the job done though.
There are one or two things I could do to improve matters a bit, but there's no getting away from the fact that curved surfaces require rendering large numbers of triangles. The fancier blocks are best used sparingly.
Greg, can you add all text strings (sawbench's GUI) into *lang file? It's important for those who want to translate this modification.
Thanks very much!

Don't click this link, HE is haunting it...
Can you elaborate?
Do you have (or are planning to add) a block that allows you to join a ridge roof into a roof tile? As you would have where a dormer window joins at the top of its roof into the main roof?
If you put a ridge tile pointing towards a roof tile, they should automatically join up with the appropriate shape.
There is a flaw to that design, being there is no center rod for the staircase. If you look closely, that is not a spiral staircase. That, and you wouldn't be able to walk up it, you would hit your head.
