No, by fine I mean between 35 to 45 fps minimum. And yes, there indeed were other complaints. Before we fixed the problem. Since then, I have yet to hear anyone besides you complain about this, and I have not been able to reproduce it, which is why I find it increasingly unlikely that it's anything but than a problem on your end.
I'd like to figure out what is wrong so I can fix it. What are the specs of your NASA supercomputer?

Like Drybones said, I don't even have to run it on my desktop to get decent fps -- it works just fine on my basic Macbook Pro as well (which believe me, is by NO means a supercomputer, lol). I can guarantee you it is not an issue of how good of a computer you have -- if you're getting that much lag, something else is likely causing it.
On an unrelated note, I finally got my github issues fixed last week, so I've slowly started making progress again! Here's a teaser image of an upcoming feature that I messed up while coding it, lol.

I found back the old feature list. My arrows are still there. And I miss all the wood stuff.
Yep, we do indeed plan to add more arrow types eventually, though I don't plan to do so until we update to 1.9, since 1.9 changes a lot of the code related to arrows and such with the addition of the "of-hand" and such. As for the wood stuff, there's a pretty good chance you could see those get re-added in the next update! I'll be totally real, pretty much the only reason they haven't already been re-added is because I forgot, lol.
Normally I would have had a whole bunch of spoiler posts out by now, since we've been working on some pretty neat features lately. However, apparently Github is literally the worst and has decided it doesnt want to let me push or pull any commits from my computer, so I've been a bit unable to make any progress as of late. :/ Hopefully I'll be able to fix the issue when I have more time over spring break though -- we'll probably be wrapping up this excessively delayed update pretty soon since 1.9 is coming out before too long.
Been a while since I've posted anything (partly because it's been a while since I've been able to make much substantial progress -- design homework tends to eat up a lot of free time...), here's a spoiler screenshot with 7 of the numerous new features we've added since 4.2.666 for those of you who haven't been keeping up with the sparratic spoiler posts.
We've got a bunch of other stuff we've been wanting to add before releasing the update, but we may end up releasing it sooner than anticipated -- apparently Forge 1.9 is coming out soon, and the code changes from 1.8 to 1.9 appear to be a lot more manageable than the past few vanilla updates, so hopefully you can look forward to a Minestrapp 1.9 release before too long.
Alright. I made this pretty quick but it covers alot in this peakie sneekie.
So lets begin!
1) This is some sort of multi block, maybe there is even 2 in the picture. Some sort of altar because of the beacon beam.
2) There is a new particle on the candle, so there maybe a new lighter or it just maybe for looks. It could also be a new candle.
3) In the background there maybe a group of cows, maybe a horse, but from my view i can see a half donkey-zebra thing. It also may be a new block or 2.
4) I saw that strange triangle in the sky. No idea what it could be.
5) There are a heck ton of new blocks in the picture. A bunch or ender looking thingy ma-bobs, a transparent block, 2 prismarine related blocks and a fleshy cobblestone like block. It kind reminds me of the old dimension in this mod. Wait a minute.....
6) There are no apparent saplings on the ground. Yay!
7) There is a hazy biome in the background. It looks like a new biome from my eyes, but i'm all about new features, so it could be a dark oak forest.
Other Notes:
1) The picture is in warm biomes
2) It would be cool if the vanilla way of dying beacons could be applied to this beacon thing.
3) There are 12 daises in the picture.
4) A new boss maybe associated with the altar.
5) The hourglasses and the new ore(s) that they teased are nowhere to be found. (I DIDN'T SPOIL ANYTHING. I CHECK THEIR TWITTER!)
6) The oil-snow thing is nowhere to be seen, as well as the huge plant(?).
7) The altar maybe used to get new items.
9) The transparent block looks like smoke, so maybe the multi block behind the altar is a smelter.
10) I skipped #8.
That's all i could type, but it covers most things in the picture and then goes into theories. I hope you enjoy!
EDIT:
1) There are no nightly builds
2) Is the server up or down? I haven't checked i a while xD
The current version doesn't want to run on 1.8.9, this is what I get when I try to run it on forge-11.15.0.1715

i have a laptop and have minimal lag. Any other programs or viruses on your computer?

When you post a mod: "No pics no clicks" and "MCreator = bad ~99% of the time"
Don't forget to read the crashlog before reporting the crash. It might tell you why it's crashing.
