Fullscreen windowed (borderless) for 1.7.10 and 1.8
This mod is a very simple addition to the game that will allow you to make your game run in borderless windowed instead of the default fullscreen available in Minecraft.
Advantages of borderless windowed versus default fullscreen
You can just hit Escape and use your other monitors without minimizing the game
You can alt+tab out of the game more smoothly
You can have other windows on top of the Minecraft client when it's not active
Great! How do I use the mod ?
Move the Minecraft window to the monitor you want to use for fullscreen.
Then simply hit F11 (or the key you have keybound for fullscreen).
That's it! You'll get a borderless windowed client!
Is this compatible with ?
This mod uses Forge and should be compatible with all 1.7 and 1.8 mods you're using! Just add it to your pack or mod folder and you're good to go.
Where do I get the mod ?
Changelog
Version 1.2.2
Fix an issue that affected users with different monitor configurations where the automatic fullscreen code would not work on all monitors.
Version 1.2.1b (1.7.10-Only release)
Fixes an issue with older versions of forge.
Version 1.2.1
The mod now uses the minecraft fullscreen option at startup. Fullscreen at startup is back!
New configurations options to turn fullscreen windowed on or off. Ideal for modpacks.
New configuration options! If you want the game to go fullscreen on a specific monitor at startup, this is now possible.
[Bug fix] The mod now listens for key presses in any screen (including the main menu)
[Bug fix] No longer de-activates vertical sync when the mod is enabled
Version 1.1.1
First version for 1.8 (1.7.10 is still supported)
You can now fullscreen minecraft on a secondary monitor! While in-game, move the window to the desired monitor then hit F11.
Currently, borderless on single monitor will not show the taskbar (but it'll allow you to alt-tab much quicker). I'll see to add a keybind so you can just turn off the borders when the window is maximized (and how well that works).
Version 1.2.1 has arrived with new fixes (where it could de-activate vsync when using the mod) and brings back fullscreen at startup (if you enable it) and new configuration options.
Version 1.2.2 has been released with hotfixes allowing people with older versions of forge to use the mod and different monitor configurations to be able to use the fullscreen on current monitor feature.

Do I have to have multiple monitors? Because i'd really love it if the mc window would have no borders, but I could still see my taskbar.
