So while doing multiplayer with some friends, we found a unicorn that was tamed and had a saddle, but no one claimed to have tamed it. My friend said it was probably a bug and killed it so it wouldn't be 'cheating' to keep it. (Still mad about that lol)
Is it a bug, or does this actually happen some times?
What likely happened is that a Knight Vagabond spawned (they spawn on a horse), and then he likely died somehow.
How do you make the Kirin breathe fire and walk on water?
There is a key binding for breathing fire - by default it is set to the 'g' key. If it's not working, you may have a conflict in your controls settings with another mod. Go check your controls settings, and bind it to a different key if necessary.
Your kirin can walk on water just by riding him into the water. He might sink a bit upon entry, but you can make him float to the top with the 'c' key (which is the default key binding, and the same that is used to ascend with a flying mount). If you have trouble with the 'c' key not working right, you might need to go into your controls settings to bind it to another key.
Hey! I really like this mod but I can't seem to find any kirin spawning (I think they spawn in mesas). I'm on the newest version of the mod and I've checked almost five.
Yeah, they are hard to find. Maybe too hard. I'm working on the mod actively again, so I'll revisit this and see if I can make them a little easier to get.
Last night I pushed out a new release of the 1.15.2 version of the Ultimate Unicorn Mod. This release has the following updates:
- Added back in the Oracle, and added a recipe so you can create it.
- Fixed a bug with pegasus wing textures being drawn wrong.
- Added configuration options to tune how often different magical horses spawn naturally, and the size of the groups they spawn in.
Jjust put out a beta release of The Ultimate Unicorn Mod for Minecraft 1.16.4!
Since converting over from 1.15 to 1.16 was a lot easier than the conversion process from 1.12 to 1.15, the new beta release has pretty much all the features (mostly just missing jousting and spirit trees).

Hi! i just discovered this mod and am super excited! I love unicorns and when i saw "ultimate unicorn mod" i downloaded it without question. I am having problem with anything BESIDES the unicorns/mobs from this mod spawning. It's very rare if not impossible to find other mobs like chickens, cows, pigs, llamas ect.
I am playing with the new 1.16.4-1.5.17 version that was just put out on cursed forge (but not the Hackshop for some reason.)
I at first thought it was a mod conflict (maybe with bioms o' plenty) so i tried just the mod solely and still encountered the problem. I couldn't config the mod in game/launcher so I edited the .tmol file, and even when changing all the spawn rate chance to 1 (of 500 max) and a single type of unicorn to .0001 I've discovered it seems to simply change the ratios but not the actual spawn chance. The mod mobs are still spawning VERY densely and it seems pushing out normal mobs. Is there a fix for this?
This problem should be fixed in the newest version of the mod. You may also want to delete the ultimate_unicorn_mod.toml file in your minecraft/config dir to reset the spawn rate settings, which I have tuned down. Just a warning that deleting that file will also remove any other mod-related settings you may have changed.

- Made it so that putting wing tips on your flying horse make it so they can hover (instead of slowly descending automatically). This doesn't work on horses with tiny wings like nightmares, though, because they fly differently.
- Changes so that riders can see better on bigger horses.
- Fixed Power Horseshoes recipe.
- Fixed a bug that was preventing breeding of horses.

To get started with quests, name one of your tame magical horses Adrian. Once he is named, you will be able to talk to him, and he will give you more details.
Hi, I play using 1.16.5. I love the ability to have one body type with another color type. My biggest issue is the lack of a white reindeer. Like the white stag is a legend in folklore and I keep trying to produce one by breeding a unicorn and reindeer and I can only get to a white horse with white half antlers. Further breeding produced a white deer shape half antlers and no tail... Like they aren't even the same antlers as the deer and what's with the no tail thing... I just want the deer body and horns but all white.... Heck the antlers can be normal but i want a white body.

This morning I released a new version of the Mod for Minecraft 1.15.2, 1.16.1, 1.16.3, and 1.16.4.
It fixes the recent bugs relating to too many horses spawning in the wrong areas, and also with tamed horses despawning on restart.
